Rest is so important, i consider it part of training.

I've had back problems for 7 years. Last summer i was in a play. There was a lot of stage fighting. After the 3rd rehersal my back was in serious pain.

So I got a tempurpedic solution bed. I spent about 3000 bucks. It was the best money i ever spent. It has a 20 year warrenty.

It really helped my back a lot. and better back=better workouts

I've thought about those. The commercials sure do make them look good, hehe

I hear they sell a pad to put on top of your current mattress that works fairly well, too. Maybe it's true, maybe it's not, I may have to look into it.

edit: maybe I'm just full of shit, I just looked on their site and didn't see one. Their original mattress isn't all that expensive, though.

I just have a 30 dollar pad on my bed and it helps my back out a lot. I have a couple herniated discs so back pain plus sciatica sucks bad. The pad really relaxes my back very well at night.

I've got a memory foam mattress pad on top of my bed now, and it has made all the difference in the world in the quality of my sleep. My back pain went away completely after about a week of sleeping on it.

Now I just wish I had a king size bed so that I could spread out more when my girlfriend spends the night.

I sleep on a queen size temperpedic. Best 2000$ I ever spent.

Honestly I most often sleep on my couch. My mattress is nothing special either. My back is seemingly invincible when it comes to surfaces that I sleep on.

I have a regular mattress and then I added a feather pad on top of it. Its cheap and its very, very comfortable, except when some feathers come out and poke you in the ass.

x-long twin, firm, no box springs. I used to have a terrible lower back then i tried sleeping on the carpet floor, or just laying on it for 10-15 minutes and it somehow made my back feel better, so I stick with the firm matress w/o box springs.

this is a great question for the women. every time i go out and get some i usually like to go her house (i dont need strays creepn' around my crib). anyway i always have the best night sleep in their bed and my back feels like a million bucks. how ever after the punishment i hit her with her back looks like a question mark and is due for its next chiro visit =0

I have a kind size Beautyrest that I bought a few years ago and just recently, the spring on the edge of the bed (on my side of the bed) seem to have lost themselves.

I might be calling up warranty support soon, but don't know how much luck I'll have.

I don't have any back problems, but I do love the comfort of my bed.

Do you ever turn your mattress over?

Simmons mattresses are kind of soft around the edges like that, and tend to get worse in the spot where you sit up when you get out of bed in the morning. I had one when I was a kid that did the same thing.

My mattress now is a Sealy Posture-Pedic. It's okay I guess, a little on the firm side. It feels good when I'm falling to sleep, but when I wake up in the morning I don't feel particularly well rested sometimes. I'm thinking about getting one of those pillow-top mattress pads for it.

We have a Simmons Pillowtop. Unbelievably comfortable. I thought about a Tempurpedic bed, but after a buddy got one and said he hated the damn thing, i decided against it.

I sleep on the floor. Best $0 I ever spent. Great for the spine too. These days when I sleep in a bed I get a sore back. For some reason bitches dont like the floor though. Their loss I guess.
