What you bench bro? Share your MAX

Obviously 5/3/1 is great for strength increase, but is it also a great mass builder? I need to shake things up and am not seeing results because I have hit a plateau.

If you are getting stronger than your body has to adjust by putting on mass, just my .02. I recently ran sheiko (if you are looking to switch things up) and it went great.

bench 275
squat 350 into tuck position.
deadlift 350

im tall, lanky and have horrible shoulders problems. i could probably go heavier but id get more pain then satisfaction. Right now im still focusing on perfect form and solid reps. :)

It takes time. Only thing I have used so far is DMAA and tons of eating and its been 10 years now.

But I am assuming with the correct Gear I should be able to get 1660+ at 242

The other day I was talking about with my training partner how when I started this my goal was to bench 225lbs. I literally told my friend at that time that if I could ever do that I would be satisfied, now I use that on incline for reps. It gets just a little addicting...

i got your bench beat T, but god damn you deadlift as much as i do and im over 50lbs heavier.. lol

I work out at home, so I don't have a spotter. Been on trt for ten months, and my max bench ever, was 215 about 15 years ago. Now that I have a squat cage, I can set the cross bars so I don't need a spotter. I worked my way up to my max bench today, with an estimated 1r max of 250. Got 250 up. Then rested for about 7-8 minutes, and tried 260. Made it to within 2 inches of the rack, and had to put it down.

Sorry for the long post, but I'm kinda excited. It's the most I've ever benched.

For reference:
5' 5"
160-165 lbs
45 years young

A month or so ago without a spotter =/ Usually good for 4 and a forced or barely 5.
inb4trolls: I touch my chest every rep... though that angle is terrible.

In my PL days, 585lbs at a comp wearing a Metal double ply poly shirt. But I was natural too and only 22yo. I'm 29 now and my right shoulder and lower back is fucked. Regular chiro, remedial and acupuncture is helping. I only go heavy on my first exercise and my ancillaries are all high volume strict form. I don't need heavy ass weights anymore to grow.
