What's best to eat on cheat days?

1. sugary carbs. i.e. cake, cereal, pancakes
2. salty fats. i.e. chicken wings, juicy burger/steak
 
Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn, smothered in greasy gravy big glass of sweet tea and the green onions
 
whole grain cakes... good carbs with 60-70g carbs in 100g of that is just 10-20g sugars a little protein,fat and dietary fiber..

thats got to be the worst idea for a cheat day ive ever see hahaha

I never get cheat DAYS but I do get one cheat MEAL per week. My nutritionist likes me to eat as much as possible of whatever I like for that one meal however I must eat my 5-6 other planned meals for the day as well.

Same - except I don't have the luxury of having a nutritionist :D
 
an unholy amount of dominos pizza, crisps (that's potato chips to you yanks), brownies, ice cream etc

Doesn't really matter what it is as long as it's carby. You should be refilling your glycogen stores and re-setting your Leptin levels, which are both things carbs'll do.

When I'm bulking I love to throw in some cheat meals throughout the week. Pizza is by far my favorite. I would eat it everyday if it were good for me! I don't count steak as a cheat meal though.

Same here...and for some weird reason I don't feel as bad when I cheat with pizza, guess because I figure it's giving me a little bit of everything in terms of macros...

And I feel stronger after a pizza cheat meal :D
 
My fav cheat is a double cheeseburger and fries with a regular Coke. I absolutely fill out after that cheat.
 
The spiciest chicken wings I can find. Like 50 of em... Or there is a place down the road that will make cheeseburgers by the pound. Had a 4 pounder one time with fries. It was a struggle near the end but totaly worth it.
