Thanks for the input guys. Different strokes for different folks. We have different bodies and different goals in mind, therefore, some of us do cardio and some do not.
When I was younger I could eat anything and never gain BF, but once I hit about 26-27 I started having to really watch it. Don't know if it's due to low T, overall decline in activity or what... I just know if I wanna keep things tight and looking good I must face the cardio monster.
I prefer to incorporate HIIT cardio for 15-20 mins on elliptical and perform the cardio AWAY from your resistance training as you are IMO impeding on your weight training session/recovery.
How many time a week is up to you, but I'd try to get the most from the least amount so you always have somewhere to go when results plummet
