I'm just wondering guys with low test who start TRT/HRT, do your levels get to the normal range after, say 600, or do you still have low test, just higher than before treatment...

would you say most guys who do testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) have higher end levels, not as high as 1600 or 1000 but higher on the 289-1000 bs chart.

mine stay between 1600 ng/dl and 1000 ng/dl depending on when the blood draw is taken.

christ!!!! Cashout..... You look fucking great!! Hey if you have it in you to help "jomamma007" out with some of your knowledge that you have always to this board, please help us all out. He is in desparate need of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), in the worst of medical ways, and is a young kid that i can help. He's building a lot of support on the board, but needs some piece of mind and a bit of a push. If you get a chance to read his other threads and posts, you'll understand. Thx bro. Keep up the great work!

I actively choose to keep my levels that high. Most guys have levels that would be within the upper quarter of the chart range based on their protocol.

I started my Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) a little over a year ago at age 40. My total T level was then 579. Most MDs would look at my numbers and say "Ahh, you are fine you are right in the middle of the normal range for your age."

Now, that is were I take exception. NEVER in my life have I ever wanted to be NORMAL. To me, that is settling for average.

Luckily, I have been involved in this culture for over 20 years. Along the way, I've had countless blood test to assess my overall health and well-being. From the time I was in my early 20s until the age of 36, my natural T levels were near or slightly above 1000 ng/dl - that was natural without any supplements at all.

So, at 36 when I started to see my T levels drop from 1000 +/- to 700 and then to 579, I knew something needed to be done. I started to get sick about 2-3 times a year, I was over training, I felt run down a lot. I also started to have a hard time focusing and staying on point mentally.

So, I rounded up my 20 years worth of paper work and went to the urologist. I explained to him that I have traditionally had higher T levels and I want them back.

I explained that I saw Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) as a means to avoid allowing my body to slow slip in to "old age." It is easier and healthier to prevent your body from going into old age than it is to try to pull it out of old age 10, 15, or 20 years down the road.

We worked out an aggressive protocol and it has worked wonders for me.

I haven't had so much as a sniffle in 15 months! I have much better mental focus again and I am far more productive.

Now, everyone is different so I can't tell you that this will have the same impact on your life, but in my case, I am very glad I made the decision.

DISCLAIMER: I can say this with complete independence because I use a local Doc for my Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). If you are struggling with your own hormone levels, quality of life, and health and well being, talk to Chip. He runs a great outfit and has helped a lot of guys.

Thanks man. Just trying to hang on to what I use to be!

Yes. This is a lifestyle choice for me. I expect that it will add tremendously to my quality of life for the next 50 or 60 years least.

haha I didn't mean that as a jerk thing to say, was just curious if you continually run hcg, i though that was bad but I guess not if you're on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), does it keep your testicles from atrophy, and active? Also if you don't mind me asking, how much does this cost a month, and does the doc prescribe all of those? Sorry about all the questions

The hcg keeps the boys full and functional.

Desensitation of the lydig cells from hcg has never been clinically substantiated so it is a popular myth.

Mine is covered by insurance.

Joma-
I will give you another example of my stats:
Before TRT:
Total Test- 326; Range of (280-1100)
Free Test- 3.0; Range of (0.95-13.50)
After 10 weeks of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) 210mg/week test:
Total Test- 912; Range of (250-1100)
Free Test- 272; Range of (35-155)
The ranges vary because i used two different labs.
I hope this helps!

Before testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) total test= 197... after 6 weeks at 200mg test E/week and 10 weeks of test E at 300mg/week I'm at 433. Don't ask me why. I feel MUCH better and can't imagine what I'd feel like at 900-1000. No Aromatase inhibitor (AI) but I do take 100mg of zinc/day, and I did do 2 weeks of HCG only(no test for those 2 weeks). I'm 38. I know how you feel Bullseye24. My testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is covered by insurance. I pay about $17/ 5ML of test E which includes syringes.

I work with a urologist not an endocrinologist and he is very knowledgeable.

From my blood work, we worked out the protocol over the course of the last year.

Initially, it was somewhat different that what I am doing today.

wow holy shitballs, never done a cycle in my life, very healthy, in good shape 23 years old and tota t was only 350....doc says "you fine"!

Love having test lvl of a 70 year old!!!

Yeah I got the you're fine thing too from the doc. I also got the, "we don't know why you are always tired, depressed, and can't get a boner, have an SSRI" thing as well. From bed ridden to super active and on top of the world...and I'm a young guy that had constant low T for years. It is by far the best decision I've ever made and I couldn't have gone with a better group of docs/advisor/company than Chip and Maximus HRT.
