When I pinned today, quite a lot of blood came out when I removed the needle.. help?

The Reason Waldos' Hiding
So I pinned in my right quad today with the usual 1ml of Test E, but after I injected and pulled the needle out, a geyser of blood shot out! :ugh: before I injected, I made sure to pull back on the plunger and not a single drop of blood went into the syringe. So what the hell did I do wrong? This was the first time this happened, and I'm afraid in that geyser of blood was some of my gear :/

No sweat man... You couldn't of lost that much gear / blood.

It happens sometimes... Just apply direct pressure and it'll stop.

Funny thing about aspirating - I do it EVERY time. But I was at the hospital just the other day and I got 2 injections from the Nurse.

The first one she aspirated and the 2nd one she didn't even bother... Hell if I know!

Did you say something to piss her off between the first and second shot?

Haha, funny you posted this. Same EXACT situation happened to me today. I aspirated and no blood, so I injected like usual. Chances are you just knicked a vessel on the way out or in. No big deal, just apply pressure.

The amount of gear you injected is probably the same.

happens everytime i inject in glute. blood and gear poor out. usually just means you didn't get it deep enough into the muscle

OP- not worth fretting over. You likely nicked an artery or something similar while pulling the needle out. This definitely happens from time to time, and if you didn't really lose any gear than there was nothing really detrimental other than your anxiety that was induced by the situation and you probably being unaware as to what was going on. In the future, just be aware that this is a benign situation.

Best of luck, and please be sure to keep being consistent with the aspirating. It is VERY important to aspirate and I cannot stress that enough; some individuals don't do it and reason that they have been using AAS for X number of years without aspirating and haven't had any "apparent" problems yet.....

This is obviously piss-poor reasoning. It is a very good safe hygienic practice and please continue to do so, simply to reiterate myself.

Okay cool. Thanks for the quick responses guys. My mouth just dropped when it happened, never seen blood shoot out like a fountain before, lol.

You're fine. If you injected into a vein you'd know it right away. It would suck, but that memorable experience is survivable 99% of the time. It's rare that you'd have complications beyond a few hours.

Hey thanks. And I noticed theres a few guys on here that say they don't aspirate. I always will make sure to do so.. I'd much rather be safe than risk injecting into a place it shouldn't go.

I've never heard that you should pull back on the plunger. What is the reason behind this?

Maybe the first shot was an IM (intra-muscular) injection and the second was SC (sub-cutaneous). There's no need to aspirate SC injections because they don't go deep enough to potentially hit a vein.

First inject i forgot to aspirate.
1 minute after injection got horrible taste in my mouth started sweating like crazy heart was racing and felt like i was going to pass out.
Was fine the next morning but it freaked me out big time.
Now before i injected i nudge the needle until i get a little bubble form then do i again just to be sure.

I found this thread on here which has good info on aspirating.

Can somebody justify as to why an intermuscular injection requires aspiration?
I'm not looking for a "because stupid!!!",..something more along the lines of a "Mr.Humdiddly" response.
Middle glute injections that are 1.5" deep run the risk of hitting which major artery again?

You aspirate to let you know that you're in a vein when you push the medication. When giving yourself an IV medication, it has direct effects. Which can cause a milieu or certain sides to happen at a very FAST pace.

Also, the nerve you want to avoid in your ass is the Sciatic nerve. It's a huge nerve. Always best to stick to upper outer quadrant when injecting.

Do a quick google search for account of people who have accidentally injected into a vein. Then tell me how fun it sounds. It's rare that doing so would cause cardiac arrest but it does happen on occasion. At the very least it hurts like hell and causes a nasty coughing fit. A quick check to see if you're in a vein seems like an insignificant inconvenience to me.

Here's a good one:

i post this all the time.. injecting into a vein is the worst lol.. i naturally aspirate every time.. infact the whole injection process is like tying my shoe or brushing my teeth.. it just happens (which is not ideal because lets say i do aspirate outta habbit.. if i pull blood im probably not gunna notice lol)
but ANYWAYS...
injecting into a vein is AWSOME!
not only is the gear practically wasted... but.. its the worst 15minutes of your life. and in my experience the ungodly pain kan last up to 24+hrs..
just think.. that horrendous oil/EO or wat ever carrier you are using has to TRAVERSE through YOUR HEART. so basically u replace deoxygenated blood that is going through heart/lungs w/ thick ass evil oil containgin corrosive BA and BB.

when i injected almost 4ml of tren INTO a vein.. i wanted to kill my self..

if you ever took biochem war fare classes or wat not they teach u about how people drown on land (thers a term for it.. kratos will know, he is weird like that).. from different types of chem attacks that replace/remove the oxygen from your system. Basically you instinctivally GRAB ur throat and reach up. As if you were drowning in water and trying to reach the surface.. and i shit u not.. ITS TRUE!!!!

after i injected i got the normal tren cough.. which is bout 1/10 injects for me.. (due to a trinkle of tren entereing a nicked vein).
well SOME HOW.. even though i aspirated i musta moved the pin just enuff to put it INTO A VEIN during the administration process.

After i put in .5ml i got the cough .. no big deal.. common, so i administer the rest.. and thats when shit hit the fan.

First the cough intensified.. like the worst asthma attack u can imagine + a god awful metallic taste.. as if i was licking the top of a 9v batter (come on u know u did it when u were a kid!) but it wouldnt GO AWAY like it normally does. Then SUPER SHARP CHEST PAINS, fallowed by weezing. At this point i got light headed and before i knew wat was going on i was reaching straight infront of me w/ my right hand .. (at god knows wat.. only thing infront of me was my closet w/ shirts) and left hand was squeezing my throat which seemed to help alleviate the burning sensation slightly.

this lasted bout 15 min (i wanted to clock it kuz the only thing going through my mind was I NEED TO DOCUMENT THIS SO I KAN POST IT ON AR! )
after that (might of been 10min but **** felt like eternitity) the pain and weezing subsided but it still felt like somethign went down the "wrong pipe" type of burn in my throat. plus my chest BURNED SO BAD like heartburn but much.."sharper?". this throat and chest pain lasted atleast 24hrs.. make working out very difficult and eating was the last thing on my mind.

dont know if i answered ur question but i hope it was atleast informative.
