I hate the upright row. It doesn't feel like a natural movement, it hurts my shoulder joints like hell. And the dumbell pullover. My shoulders feel like they're going to pop out when I do this. These are the two exercises that I would never again include in a routine. I'm not a fan of press behind the neck either, I prefer the front press.

Is it true that the dumbell pullover can stretch the cartilage in the rib cage and make it bigger? I can't remember where I heard this.

the ones i find most uncomfortable are hammer curls and skull crushers...basicly anything that puts a lot of stress on my elbows.

DB pullovers were always a bit painful for me. However they are a great exercise for expanding the ribcage and carving out the seratus anterior. Maybe even the intercostals as well. Doing them on a constant basis really adds to the look of the abs and stomach in general IMO.

curls are starting to hurt the bone in my right forearm. I have to slowly release the weight from the grip to keep the pain away. weird huh?

This stupid apparatus absolutely kills my shoulders...

I will just use dumbbells from now on to do flyes....

i've always thought they were better anyway
They are...sometimes I get lazy which doesn't bode well in the gym...being lazy is not why I am there.

Skull crushers hurt my shoulders worse then anything. It pisses me off since I was getting up to some decent weight before they started bothering me a couple of years ago. Oh well.

heavy preachers hurt the same for me so much I can barely do my sets, think its tendonitis.

Pretty much any tricep exercise where I have to extend my arm up in the air. It sucks b/c I LOVE working triceps but the pain I get in the tendon that connects to the elbow is unbearable!

Band squats...as many reps as possible in 30s...

And reverse cable pushdowns...my elbows kill for days...

I get that. I don't do any isolation exercises for triceps because it really hurts just above my elbow joint in my left arm. When I do dips it feels like someone's holding a lighter to my arm, it burns like fuck. I think I've got some kind of nerve damage because I get pins and needles as well as the burning sensation.
