I'm the quite type, but there is a kid at my gym that screams while doing 135lb squats and 95lb bench. I would slap him but I think he might be a girl.

I think its just plain dumb. For one, you look like a cocky ass doing it. Like its a ton of weight even if it isn't. 2nd, it can screw up the dumbells if they land on one side. 3rd, it can roll and hit someone. If I had one fall on my foot because some a-hole can't control the weight, I would pick the weight up and drop it on his f'n' nose.

I have when people dont put thier crap back. Leaving some plates on the leg press or even the bench is one thing, completely another to leave shyt on the floor.

I agree. That is BS when I have to spend 1/2 of my workout putting plates back onto the rack or moving them out of the way so I can use a piece of equipment. If these bums were as bad as they think they are, why aren't they strong enough to put their weights back???:bash:

nope, i dont drop'em...and i hate when people are using the cables and let the cable go when its still has resistance on it and the whole stack of plates slam together....its fuckin rude and abusing the equipment, i just love when you see the 80lbs dumbell sitting on the floor beside the rack with only one side of it still attatched, i see this more often at gyms with a lot of big bruisers....little guys cant use heavy weights i guess..lol

worst thing is when you are on a bench ready to do seated alt. dumbell curls, or presses. And somebody starts curling right next to you or in front of ya. If ya started you would of knocked right into them with your weights. Assholes should move back 4 feet, or to the side 4 feet.

i fucking hate people who drop the wieights, like jonnyb said, control is part of the strength, if u drop em, they are too heavy 4 u.

when i deadlift or bench heavy i will breathe out loud but I am always in control of the weight. I believe when you are PUSHING YOURSELF TO YOUR REAL MAX, it is impossible to not groan when pushing out those last couple with serious weight.

i agree 100%....i see guys smaller than me using 75 and 80lb dumbells to do presses with....and they only do it maybe 3-4 times and drop weights

sometimes i will drop the weight, especially when i do drop sets after supersetting. its not intentional but sometimes it happens. i have never come close to dropping them ontop of someone though, if you lose all situational awareness to where you drop weight on someone, then its probably too heavy or youre just a blind senseless fuck. mostly i think its laziness when you drop the weight. no matter how many supersets or dropsets youve done, or how heavy it is, if you were able to lift it and do reps then you should be able to return the weights to the ground without dropping them. what i do find annoying is the way 90 percent of the people at my gym will leave the weights on the bar or worse, all over the floor after theyre done.

lol I AM that guy at my gym (well at least ONE of those guys, I work out at a world gym and there are a lot like that) Just started over there, and last week when I was doing db presses with the 65's (lol im still a newb) I went to failure and dropped them on the floor right beside me and in like 2 seconds the guy from the desk was RIGHT there saying that they have a policy where no weights are allowed to touch the floor...even to rest them you have to put them on a bench... I think its bs, because you could really hurt yourself with some of those exer's by trying to stop them and stand up with them

cortez are you sure there not aloud to touch the floor or just not allowed to be dropped on the floor..if thats so, that is a fucked up world gym bro..

i hate motherfuckers that drop and throw the fucking weights around-- do it in front of me and i will let you know in a not so nice fucking way--

i could not tell you how many times i have went to grab the dumbells and some asshole through them on the ground breaking one or both of them--
so its weeks before a replacement gets there-- dumbells are very expensive when they get up in the 150 lb range

if you have to throw it its to fucking heavy and you had no buisness picking it up in the first place

some dumbass walks or stands in front of my mirror that shit pisses me off the most.

i find it very disrespectful when people do that and will chew there damn heads off
