Why so many members on TRT/HRT ?

Why so many members all on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) , is this do to hpta function damage from roids , long cycles abuse , permanent shutdown , no proper pcts ? alot of ppl on here seem to be on it

The reason I'm on it is because of the lack of knowledge I had when I was younger. I ran cycles and never had a pct when I was young and stupid. Ran cycles without test. Now I'm on TRT. That's why I love helping young kids out so they don't end up like mr.

My reason has nothing to do with AAS. I've had primary hypogonadism ever since I was a kid, but it became apparent when I was a teen. At that point I was tired of it and got prescribed trt. I've always wanted to be a bodybuilder, even as a teen, but the hypogonadism kept me from my goals. In my 20s now and am glad I feel better. AAS was always something that intrigued me even when I was younger. All I can say is I'm happier than I've ever been and have achieved things I only dreamed of years ago.

TRT here is because it is literally genetic for me. My twin brother is on it and he has never touched a needle. I talk to my doctor and literally the market of people with low t is untapped.

If you are not on it go get checked for it. you won't be sad

I'm on it because I had to get surgery and one of my nuts removed, test levels did not recover. Uniballer status.

I'm on it, have been for 2 years. My doc is cool he helps with my cycles and is generous with the test. Get all my blood work done and he has a machine that documents my progress. It sends electrodes through my hands and feet and tells me how much body fat and dry lean mass I have put on every 6 weeks. Honestly its the best thing I ever did because he monitors all my levels and helps with keeping the proper doses of ugl gear in the correct range. Plus unlimited hcg, anastrolzole, cyp aren't bad benefits either. Oh and the sermorelin straight from the pharmacy as well. Keeps me in check and makes sure my cycles are in the proper range. Thats why I'm on it.

How long before you started feeling better bro after you started TRT? My natural Test levels are 212 so very very low.....But as I am in the UK the Dr's will not help so having to self administer and started Isis Test 350 but felt so ill after the first shot, known as 'Test Flu' that I wont do a second shot!

I started my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) a few weeks ago. I had never had issues fathered two beautiful children and had a fairly good life. A few years ago I say abkut two I started to feel slugish and impotemt litterally. No sez drive nothing. I thought it was my psychotropic drugs for my PTSD they tend to have that effect. Well we lowerd dozes went with differwnt types and nothing. Finally I was going nuts litterally suicidal, and I told my doc we had to do something.

So finally a few months ago after loosing the wife the kids pretty much everytbing I got put on this and just started. My doc said that there r cases where it just happens to men. I never touched anything other than creatine.

When i started in late 80,s there was no internet to gain all this knowledege that is out there now for bodybuilders..i had no damn clue what post cycle therapy (pct) was..never heard of it.. so never did it...fucked me up good..Not till my wife and i tried to have kids did i realize how bad my test levels and numbers were...they were under 100...luckily i had a great doc who worked with me and set me up on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that helped us eventually be able for me to be able to produce and help my wife concieve..these days with google, internet it is absolutely unacceptable for young dudes not to do research and stuff your head full of all available knowledge that is there for the taking. i get blood work done every 6 months and have now for years and will for the rest of my life as well as testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for life.. but if i knew then what i do now ... just saying do your FULL post cycle therapy (pct)...dont cut it short ..always make sure BEFORE you start your cycle you have got enough to complete it...
Respect

It took me about 3 weeks to start feeling better. However my test level was 129 before I started. Some people will disagree with me on this but if you can get Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), use it!!! I started using it eod after two months of treatment and my free test level went up over 4% thats pretty good. So I like to keep it on hand and use it for that reason alone. The doc started me on 200mg of cyp each week. Now off cycle I try to keep my levels around 1100. Thats my magic area of feeling great.
Maybe try a different brand of test. Start with around 150-200 mgs a week. That might help the test flu.

I have 3 good answers.

1. Low test, as you see above

2. Hardcore competitive bodybuilding

3. Dumb kids

I'd say i fall into a couple of those categories. ha

I got tired of the long recovery times between workouts limiting what I could do. I also felt I was working harder than previously and getting nowhere. I am only 41 and not even close to being ready to curl up in a recliner and give up on an active life!

Id love to hear more of this story. How the doc helped you concieve I mean.
Me and my wife have been talking about trying. Im on a cycle right now though so im interested in your story.
PM me if you prefer.

Only one of mine seems to work, test levels where 400 in morning and 280 at, night. Started giving me problems so saw the doc, they told me it was low t, never heard of it before that in 2006

Man, there are so many variables today that can cause folks to become hypogonadic, it's not even funny. Everything from hormones in the plastics we use to the fertilizers being used on our produce that we consume. Prescribed medicines can also lower our test, even causing permanent HPTA damage! I was natural all the way up to my 30's and found myself with a classic case of hypogonadism due to being on opiates (prescribed) for two years due to having several knee surgeries from an on the job injury. Unfortunately, while doctors are more than willing to prescribe drugs that treat symptoms like insulin resistance (common to those with low test levels) or insomnia (yep, this too is a side effect commonly found with low test) - they are hesitant (or don't even know these can be secondary to hypogonadism) to check hormone levels. There's probably few things worse than knowing something is wrong, but being told that you just need to take these pills that carry their own side effects to just feel "normal". That brings them here, and to other sites like 'ology in my opinion.

I also think a lot men that are actively trying to seek the bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle come to these websites as they feel they need something "more" after trying all of the supplements which tend to be nothing more than fillers and snake oil. Combine this with the fact that they start reading about how test affects the ability to build muscle/lose fat, it's an easy conclusion to make that they want to learn more and then start to share experiences with their peers. This is how I personally started my trek into learning about how the human body as I knew something was wrong, but wasn't quite able to put my finger on it. My doctor was shocked as I literally blind sided him with proposing to have a hormone panel done after learning all of the symptoms of low testosterone and estrogen dominance. I have to say I felt quite vindicated (and shocked) to hear over the phone that my total test numbers were that of a 13 year old girl! This was nearly three years ago, and I haven't looked back since.

While not everyone on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) feels this way, I pretty much have decided that as I'm already suffering the consequences for AAS use, I might as well make lemonade from the lemons I've been dealt and blast on higher levels with additional compounds to assist with building the body I've always wanted. I don't think it's for everyone, but there are many other recreational drugs out there that can wreck havoc on your body - why not engage in a drug use that actually has positive results and promotes a healthy lifestyle?

My .02c :)

Never touched roids in my life until I hit late 40's and just felt horrible everyday. Endurance was dropping, working outs were sucking and I could care less about getting laid. Doc ran a hormone panel and test was very low, so he put me on gel. That lasted all of 2 months before I starterd jabbin myself and now 3+ yrs later life is still good.

The wife on the other hand, she's not doing so good! ;)

not on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) as I'm only 26 but I'm sure I'll be on it in my late 30's ! Wanna be at that Sylvester Stallone status lol
