Wrist injury...really demotivating me?!?

I hurt my wrist during.a heavy punching card io session. At first I couldnt even shake hands because of pain. Its been about3 weeks and the pain is significantly less but still agonizing when my wrisy is under stress. I decided to rest it out to prevent further injury. 3 weeks into my rest my diet has been horrible and I'm losing motivation. I got my gear coming soon so I just wana recover completely before I go hard. You guus think I should rest or keep moderate lifting intensity until mywrist recovers??
 
Yeah that sounds good ill do pull ups n light band exercises and of course the might squats and front squats of course :) and no I havent gotten xrays. I believe it is a sprain after doing some research regarding heavy punching bag injuries
