I advise the 360. Especially since the new 360 S is the perfected form of the 360.
Better online community, a couple exclusive titles(Such as Halo...even though I dont like it), the communities are larger for the 360 than the PS3.
The general perceived image of them are 360 for gamers, young adults(18-30) and the PS3 usually gets picked up by the same people who prefer using Mac, or are older and not really into gaming. In fact if it was not for blue ray the PS3 would probably only have half the sales it does.
I have played both, and prefer 360. For some reason most games look a little better on the 360 than the PS3(sometimes even, sometimes PS3 is better, but most often 360 has the edge).
I have a PS2, 360, Wii, a PSP(which I love!), and want a PS3 but it really has nothing that says "Get it now". Its kinda like if they release the right exclusives maybe I will save up for it over time. Not a fanboy by any means of a particular system, because I love sony for the PSP and PS2(which I liked over original xbox btw). But the 360 is just too damn...nice.

On that note, the PS3 has a habit of their online crashing when a new game comes out(I think when MW2 came out in Britain it it was down for a week lol).
360 I have never had an issue, and my 360 is wireless internet. No lag, I was impressed. It can also use USB sticks to expand memory or save data to, it can link to your computer and pull of pictures or movies, or even music.
They are both nice, and I would like a PS3 someday, but 360 was and is my first choice. Had one since 05, yeah a couple died. But they repaired em for me. Now that the 360 S is out I have heard of zero issues with them.

Maybe the original xbox's, but the 360's is essentially the same size as the PS3 controller. Different shape which gives it a thicker look though.

I prefer the Battlefield series, or Rainbow Six series. Halo is just the exact same as the Quake series from 8-12 years ago to me. Arcade shooter. I have Reach, played it for 2 months and got too bored. And I did good, even going 40-0 on Big Team as my best
I like team tactical games. In BF:bad company 2 an good squad of 4 can wreak havoc. In halo, skills are not always as important as luck.

ok here ya go.. simple solution... which control feels an works better for you when gaming... I use to have a PS3, but sold it off, cause when i got the 360 controller in my hand... I have yet to look back. LOVE 360!!!!!

If you have half a brain you'll buy a PS3. First of all, the xbox controller is a recipe for carpal tunnel problems, and there are no alternatives to it. Second, there are one million more games for PS3 and a ton of better games, not to mention online is free. Xbox is for fags.

Very educated post here. We discovered the issue for the homo-invasion here in the U.S., Xbox's! Better yet I now know the PS3 has a million more games(1,000,000 more!!!), and a ton of better ones at that! With free online(that crashes) as well!
It has roughly the same to a smaller game library, most of which are the exact same games the 360 has. Better yet its backward compatibility SUCKS, you cant play none of your old favorite games. Thanks to its fancy "blue ray" many old games from the PS line wont work on it. Whereas my 360 is fine, every Xbox Original game I have tossed in works.
As for the controllers, I have never had an issue with it. No grip strength? Used to gripping something smaller eh? Not used to the big ones, its alright, we understand.
