25 Years Old and Low T. Should I start TRT?

Just got my Free test results: only 299 ng/dl

looking it up, the normal range in my age is 650 ng/dl, more than double of what I have.

So according to it, I have the T levels of an 90 year old granny.

I don't have ED, am not depressed or have very low energy. But I don't have the same libido/sex drive I used to.

nor do I feel the high ammount of energy I used to.

Do you brahs think I should start TRT? I've seen a few reports of people in my test range who did it and they have only good things to tell about it.

NO LINKS ALLOWED READ THE BOARD RULES

I know I can avoid the desensitization of my Leydigg cells with HCG and avoid becoming infertile during the TRT and still have kids in the future.

during an TRT protocol, should AI be used? (like Nolva, Aromasin)

I wouldn't mess with your hormones just yet. Your symptoms don't justify TRT IMO. There's a big difference between lower sex drive and not wanting/being able to have sex for months on end.

Drink more coffee for energy and find a hotter chick to up your sex drive.

Might want to look into Serm/GHRP combo, I have seen these raise testosterone. Whether it was direct or through positive changes causing a ripple effect I am not sure.

One guy over 50 years old actually got his TT up to 900 with just those from low 300's.

It has to be timed correctly and you should take injectable arginine with each dose.

I will run a few more tests and go to an endocrinologist.

by serms you're talking only about clomid, noval and aromasin?

I think it would be great to have an 900~1000 ng/dl year round.

I would only achieve it throught TRT wouldn't I?

I looked into the same thing a couple of years back (I am 29 now) but was told my doctor to wait until I am well into my 30's before I should even think about doing TRT. Just my 2 cents.

Why is that? What is his reasoning?

Sounds like you are talking to a doc that knows little about TRT.

Hypogonadism knows no age. If you had diabetes you would take insulin right? Regardless of age? So if you had hypogonadism why wouldn't you take testosterone?

this.

I don't know why but doctors don't like to prescribe Test. If you had hyperopia wouldn't he recommend you to use glasses? Or he would tell you to live with it until you're 30 and then recommend you?

Life it's about quality, if you can live with a higher quality of life today, why wait more years?

And if you hop on TRT and use HCG with it, you won't lose your natural test production for ever. Because the HCG will mimic the LH your pituitary gland produces and won't let your Leydig cells shut down/become desyntetized.

so other than having a shot of test everyweek, I really don't see any down sides on TRT.

No way would I go the hormone replacement route just yet, especially since the only complaint you have is a lower sex drive. I would first exhaust all other options on dealing with the decreased sex drive, could be sleep, diet, body composition, stress, porn use..... there are a lot of possible causes.

I would def get repeat testing because of your age, but if it keeps coming back low then you obviously have hypogonadism.

Just received my new lab test results.

even lower, 222,9 ng/dL. I'm officially hypogonodal.

Already marked an appointment with an Urologist that is qualified in the TRT field. Thanks for all input ITT, I will start TRT asap.

Lately have been feeling down, no energy, even slightly depressed.

Don't have ED, but my libido is too low.

thanks u all for your advice.

Thing is, I already have an healthy life style. Minimum if no drinking, no smoking. I do weight training at the gym 5x/week, have a decent diet with lots of healthy fats, milk, eggs, meat, veggies.

Had bloodtest for lack of micronutrients, etc.

After reading about Low Test, I recognized all the symptoms, brain fogness, tiredness all the time, low libido, etc.

Would rather have a shot of test a week and have a great life quality than live the rest of my life feeling like a Guacmole merchant
