Hello folks, I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) about 12 weeks ago. After a ton of testing for other things and my test being around 260 my GP sent me to a Urologist. He started me on Depo 100/wk for about 6 weeks but my test never got over 450. I jumped up to 200/wk and now my test results this week were 1260. My RBC is still good and my liver test looks fine. I am waiting for my doc to call me in regards to the over 1200 score. I have no gyno or anything, and my testicles have not shrunk at all yet. His opinion was not to do Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) along with it b/c I am done having kids.
I am wondering if the major jump in test has caused my major fatigue the last week? I have been sleeping a lot the last 5 days... not sure if I am just tired from work/family... or if it could be related? Thanks

Okay. Just checking cuz those products can make u feel wat u feel.tired and lathargic if ur not dosing to high. Other tgan that I'm not sure. It sounds like its prolly not related to the AAS

It's probably not related to AAS, could be something else either medical or some other factor causing u this..
How's your libido at such high #'s.. just wondering :D

Without typing all of it here is the summary noting the only ones not in range:

Metabolic panel - all in range
Hemogram w/ diff - all in range accept for WBC a little below range: 3.8 (range 4-11.1)
Differential (ADIFF) - all in range accept these:
NEUT 38% (range 40-74)
LYMPHS 54% (range 16-48)
MONOS 2% (range 5-13)

Im looking for:

Free Roaming testosterone
estradiol
IGF-1
Thyroid

or even better

Progesterone
Folate
Ferritin
SHBG
Cortisol
DHEA
Vitamin D 1,25 hydroxy

May have missed a few

Im not big on ranges either, also would like to know if its upper or lower range, its not about the total as much as its about the ratio

when a doctor says "its fine" for me that isn't good enough. They are just catching on to the importance of estradiol.

he didn't test your free T or SHBG? Doesn't sound like he treats many guys with injections.

and Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is about WAY more than just kids.................I assume he is not familiar with that either.

I am going to call tomorrow. I did the cortisol test at my endo and it was fine, and my free test according to my last test was over 100 he said. I will keep you posted. Thanks for your help.

Yes, in the last 3 months I have gone from 172 to 185 lbs and leaner. Stronger across the board at the gym.... i.e. previously with fresh arms I could do about 18 dips... today I did 32.

Definitely find out your estrogen numbers, because that could be whats causing your lethargy.

Also, when on test if I consume a lot of sodium I can start feeling lethargic and I sweat more.

My main concern is why he is so "don't worry about it" about HCG and an anti estrogen.

Not saying doctors are stupid, but if your levels are within range, even if they are barely within range most docs rule out that problem. Unless they are experienced with aas. And some are!

One other thing the labs said is my FSH (follicle stimulation hormone) and LH (Luteinizing hormone) test dropped significantly after 1 month of TRT. Originals were FSH 5.5, LH 5.29..... 4 weeks later FSH .4, LH .28. I am guessing that is me shutting down?

I agree , might need a new endo.

im on HRT and dont use HCG, if i WANTED my balls plumpped up then id use it, or if i wanted higher chance of kids.

on HRT keep in mind to supplement with pregnenolone and/or DHEA because Test alone wont cover all bases (they are catching onto this now also)
I take 50mg preg ed and 50-200mg DHEA ed + my hrt.
