3J reverse pyramid workout

I know this is discussed in other threads, but my total body "soreness" makes this a thread of its on. Who else is doing this? I still can't believe I'm getting this tore up over a 30-35 min workout. I'm sore as hell. I've worked out for years, going heavy mostly, 3-6 rep range with being in the gym 60-75 min. This is crazy. I will say this, you can't have buddy time, or talk about the weekend while on this workout, you HAVE to finish your set, adjust weight, take a breath and literally perform your next set. Why in the hell have I not performed this before the ripe ole age of 39???? On arm day, I'm particularly cursing 3J, damn my arms seriously fell like they are bout to explode. Still getting my mind wrapped around only bring in the gym for 35 min max, but shit, it's working.

Just starting 3J'S reverse pyramid routine. Very excited and glad 3J is working with me.The next 6 months should be intense.
 
Oh thank god it is not just me...this routine destroys me! I have trouble washing my hair after the chest day - just difficult to get, and keep, my hands up on my head to work up the lather. On the first day of chest I actually had to have my wife take off my shirt! And then I was too sore to do anything other than shower... ;)
