the first year i trained as a PLer my weight went from 240 to 315.

damn 5'6" and 290. thats the same size as kirk karwoski. thick bastard.

good luck training around injuries i know how that feels. sucks ass but you gotta do what you gotta do.

he has the powerlifter gut, but is still so thick and wide I look skinny standing next to him. You can probably find him listed online, I think hes in the ontario powerlifting association, his name is Dave Gratton, hes the cousin of the big hockey player chris gratton.

As for the injuries, I've been training around them for a decade, so I cant even imagine being 100% healthy

i know dave. well i know him from the pling boards. i however know nothing about hockey, never watched a game. i cant believe we have hockey in NC. damn we rednecks down here. you northerners trying to convert us. =0)

thats dave allright, he is the one who taught me to deadlift, squat and bench properly, I haven trained with him since I was 180lbs though. I just ran into him the other day, and he mentioned he was on some of the boards too, which ones do you seem him on?

would you have called that parallel ?

dawg its tough to tell from the front. its very close from that angle. but to be sure you would need to be where the side judge is. its a wpc (intrenational) meet so the judging is normally pretty fair. they dont give them away but not as strict as the ipf either.

he sho made 870 look easy.

the side judge on his right got a good look at it. the lady on the left missed it completely. she was moving her head when he powered up. the head judge normally doesnt call depth.
