600 lb attempt

House, do you use wrist support? I found even doing lockouts was such an abnormally high weight for me I had to use wrist support.

I know a huge guy at my gym that only uses the smith machine for bench press...and he is HUGE, and he uses the same weight as house, so I thought I would ask.

the smith machine is the thing you lean against to watch guys squat :doggy:

Smith machine is not the same weight nor is it the same lift since it does a lot of the stabalizer work for you. I used to incline bench about the same as my flat bench on a smith, now I do free only though. I dont use the smith for anything any longer, but yeah raise the bar and its great for leaning up against.

I lean on it all the time. LOL!
 
if you can bench 600 on the smith, you are still strong, but like they said above , definitely not the same.
 
by the way House--not that you dont already know, but outstanding lift--its only a matter of weeks before you Start the 600lb club in your gym!!!
