A New Look at Roid Rage

For most men the effects of test come out as higher confidence and assertiveness rather than aggression. The only guys I've known of who had 'roid rage' problems were also guys who got into fights even when they were off-cycle. Here the steroids were just amplifying pre-existing a-hole tendencies.

You know,,,,I've never really had a problem with Roid Rage. But after this cycle, now that I am on post cycle therapy (pct) with clomid and nolva I have been experiencing some rage.

But I guess its not roid rage since I'm off,,,,,,PMS maybe?

This is not a new concept at all. My own post cycle experiences had much less to do with violence, than depression (clomid rather than nolvadex).

People who let frustration get to them, are going to have issues with violence if they are not carefull. It has been noted that violent people, are also more likely to be those interested in using steroids.

Based on my own experience that I posted above, where the steroids seem to have actually calmed my rage, I believe that most guys who "rage" while on steroids are actually just using the steroids as an excuse to act like a total fuckhead. Or perhaps it's psychological - they THINK that the steroids will make them rage, therefore they have less self control than usual.

Roid rage depends on the individual. Some people take testosterone and don't work out ,do they have roid rage ? They would'nt think of blaming there anger on roid rage. I think it's all in the mind.

I think it depends on the person... imo steroids act as a catylist for aggression.

However, the way the media goes about diagnosing "roid rage" is absurd.

It just seems like a lot of people blow the whole roid rage way out of porportion. Just listening to you guys doesn't seem like much rage at all. I think somebody said this early they just use it as an excuse...BS if you're an asshole you were probably one to begin with, with out roids.! I get irratible but have always controlled it in a healthy manner!

I agree with everyone who says it can be controlled. Depending who you are and what youre normally like, depends on whether or not you will displau "roid rage."
