Abcess on my right and left quadriceps

Abcess

New member
I have multiple abscesses. Went to a regular dr. And he prescribed me Keflex. Went to the ER yesterday, and they let me go without doing any blood work, and told me to stack bactrim with the Keflex. Neither Dr. Even drew blood.

I am not running a temperature. No tachycardia. I am on test p, masteron, anavar, and t4.

I had a photoshoot today that I had to cancel due to the redness in my quadriceps. My worry is, at the moment I cannot walk. I am like an old man. Any flexion of the knee joint results in excruciating pain.

The things I did differently: Used a half inch slin pin. Exercised the injected muscle soon after injection. Ran 800's, 400's, 200's, 100's, and 40 yd sprints in interval fashion.

My question is are these ER doctors basically being retarded and should I go back in for the 2nd consecutive day? (I mean I literally cannot walk and they discharged me without pain meds or crutches). Thanks in advance for the help.

The ER procedures vary by country.... If you aren't running a fever and they assess your pain is on the lower end of the scale, they aren't necessarily inclined to drug you up just because you have red knots on your legs. Questions for you, assuming you didn't tell them anything about your AAS use...

Are you injecting with a sterile, new needle, into a clean, sterilized spot?
Are you injecting Sub-Q?
How long have you had the pain?
Do we assume you know what you're doing with AAS (This is your fist post)?

I certainly hope they're not shunning you for thinking you're using. Bro, if it was me, i wouldn't mess around. Go to a different doctor and get the answers you're looking for. Don't walk out until you're comfortable.

Good luck

At an ER, an incision or excision would be quite costly and not considered an emergency at your stage. So they only did what they're trained to do, which is give you an antibiotic to kill off the infection and reduce inflammation.

Be sure to avoid any and all blood thinners while taking Keflen.

I don't wanna be one of these guys that lecture you, but seriously, you're doing something wrong. I've ran four cycles now without any compromise to sterile procedure. And thus, never had an infection.
I could type out the procedure here, but it's easy to find all the info you need. Go to Utube and search: injecting steroids. You'll find several good instructional videos. You can't keep messing up and getting infections. It's counter productive to body building goals and, frankly, your body can take only so much. One of these days your local infection is gonna go systemic. And then you're out if the game!

Eh, there are other ways to get abcess too hrnyfck.

OP, just let the meds take it's course, do no pick. The doc should've also told you about the hot water compression.. I'd suggest taking a hot bath with some bath salts, should help drawing the infection to the top..

My worst abscess was from an ingrown hair. Nasty and painful :(

I just did that!

And I should've just listened to the hubby, tells me not to pick, the fuck do I do?! I picked!

Dude, my entire leg was swollen! It swell out and then, my entire leg went red. I thought my leg was going to fall off!!
I took the tip of a dart, and picked but, double dipped.... Well, it was infected, and I let it go for a couple of days, assuming it would get better. which, it did but, doc put me on that same antibiotic. I also used polly too and took some ibproh to help as well.

Abscess are pretty common among athletes.

Well, thanks for the elaboration. I'll return my dinner to the fridge now.

lol. But I agree, hard not to pick and the entire experience just sucks.

Someone gave me a bad rep, what the fuck! Told me I look like shit... Asshole! Who does that?! Slimmy greaseball, probably jealous he can't lift

Oh, sorry, that was me, just my way of pulling your ponytail. JK, no idea why someone would do that.
