Abs...

Okay, I am 6'1, 230lbs. I am a pretty stocky guy, with a lot of muscle (185lbs of muscle). I still have a gut. I am also 16% bodyfat. I was wondering, how much do you think I would need to weigh to see my abs? I am hoping no where under 200lbs, because I do not want to be too light. I want to be over 200lbs, with my abs still visible. I have been working extremely hard. I started out at 310lbs on August 28th, and got down to 230lbs when I weighed myself last week. I feel like my stomach should be flatter, but it's not. It still sort of hangs over my pants, it's so annoying. So, as I said before, how much do you think I would need to weigh in order to have my abs visible?

good job so far stomache is the last to leave. he said you were 310 do you have excess skin? the best answer is diet and cardio

I think it may partially be an excess skin problem as well... especially if your coming close to the 100lb loss mark. What fat you have left is mixed w/lose flabby excess skin and makes your midsection look worse then it really is.

Nah, I don't have any excess skin or flab, I got lucky. But, I do have a lot of stretchmarks, which really sucks.

Yeah, I have a very clean diet, and I run for 30 minutes every day. I run about 4 miles and I burn over 600 calories, so it's pretty good.

Abs start to become visable @ around 10%...so you need to lose say 7 percent the have decent abs. 7% of 230 = 16.1lbs. Your goal weight is around 215lbs.
