american vs canadian rant

i gotta agree with dre... being a sports nutritionist and working with pro level body builders on contest prep and off season bulkings i will say i have clients who look much better than i do at times.. i am, after all, a power lifter by blood.. shit im probably sitting at 18% right now at 280lbs.. i dont have a six pack lol.. its either the passing of knowledge or the application of knowledge that is power.. i will agree with gram and application... yes, you wanted to see if he practices what he preaches, i get it.. but that does not mean he doesn't know what he is talkin about.. i know nutritionist who are out of shape.. mid 20% bodyfat.. but have a vast amount of knowledge and can get anyone contest ready... science is more about hypothesis then practical application.. anything that has become practice application began with the former anyways.. i dont think someones knowledge base should be dismissed based on their looks.. yes, you applied it, you showed will power and dedication and your physique reflects that.. doesn't mean you know more or less than the guy who didn't
If you weren't sensitive then why the comment about rescuing him?

Again,'goals between ppl differ. Just bc I'm more interested in powerlifter doesn't mean my advice is only good for powerlifting or that I can't make advice to bodybuilding. Why would it matter if I apply it to myself, my goals are vastly different than yours. Does being book smart make one any less intelligent?

Here I'll state it again...I never said one was any better than the other. I asked the dude to post pics so we can see if he applies his great knowledge to his own physique, or if he doesnt. It's really that simple. If he posts a pic and hes a scrawny fuck I still wont discount his knowledge. So again, you arent really involved in this at all, for some reason you are trying to get yourself involved in your e-friends discussion. If you want to post a picture of your physique feel free, id love to see it.

Your sensitivity is rearing itself again.

alright you two.. if this was a healthy discussion i wouldn't get in the way.. but that's enough...

i dont want this to turn into a flaming thread... this discussion has turned the wrong way already

I agree, my intent wasnt for it to go that way at all. I never even addressed him until he jumped into the discussion i was having with austinite. He is missing the fact that i dont discount austinites intelligence. the dude knows his stuff and i wouldnt say a word about it if he posts up a pic and he's 150lbs. for my own curiosity i asked him to post a pic so i can see if he applies it or not. im not "calling him out" or anything.

where as i believe you that you were not calling him out, it did seem like you were... i have to say.

again.. i believe it was more of an exchange of knowledge.. there is nothing wrong with comparing physiques.. but remember not everyone wants to post up their body like you have...

i love civilized discussion... especially between two intelligent people.. all three of you have something to bring to the plate and thats wonderful..

but if you guys are going to start throwing the plates at each other its not acceptable..

Damnit Canada, quit keeping all of your Putine as a national resource.
I want that in the states!

I don't post images online. Most certainly not on a steroid forum. I've posted my stats, and I can provide accurate stats (not calipered) for well over a decade. I've posted my dexa scans and bod pod assessments. I'm 4 lbs shy of my goal at 230 lbs a 11% BF @ 6 ft. I've been much larger, and much smaller. I'm not really sure what that has to do with anything.

As for my knowledge, there are several members here who are aware of my educational background and life achievements, including the administrators StoneCold and DPR. I assure you, it's my biggest pride. And I never usually mention it because I am still learning, and never want to come across as a snob (I try to be very friendly and encouraging, same way offline). This is why I help as often as I can, because I am an advocate for men and women's health (I volunteer much time offline to help the sick).

While humbled, I am fairly uncomfortable when folks post questions in the open forums and request me personally to respond. I don't seek that type of attention and I'll be the first to say that there are many members who are more knowledgeable than myself. I've learned from JimiThing and Juced_porkchop considerably. I'm not a genius with respect to diet, so I've learned a tremendous amount from 3J as well as Dreday. I thought I knew everything about urology yet folks like halfwit always surprise me. But rest assured, I don't take their words for it, I research it for myself and in most cases, implement to verify and experience. As much as I hate private messages (because they don't benefit the open forums), I still take the time to respond in as much detail as possible.

I've had the pleasure of attending more endocrinology related seminars than I like to admit. I've conducted multiple studies and soon to be published. I've studied the human body with incredible passion and respect for the complexity, and can recite more metabolic pathways and drug precursors than wiki (in order). I'm self taught with respect to muscular dystrophy and hope that I can answer most questions in that regard. My AAS experience is about 17 years, with severely documented regimens and results. I'm obsessive in that way. I've also researched and wrote for one of the largest supplement companies online today, which will soon venture into brick and mortar stores. I'll be conducting all staff trainings.

Every second of my free time is dedicated to research, experience, studying and helping others. I have no other hobbies. Research is my hobby. Lame. I know...

What else would you like to know?

My comment was true. As I've observed your post history, you have a habit of leaving comments with no explanation, many of which were quoted by members for an elaboration, and left hanging. I never discounted your knowledge, I merely pointed out your pococurante responses.

Have a powerful day.

Well said
