Anybody know of any good docs in Milwaukee, WI?

I got a case of thrombophlebitis and it scared my doc enough to not let me get injected at least for a while, if ever. He might have a conference call with other endos to see what they think, but that won't be for two weeks.

There are other reasons I want a new doc. I need one that accepts medicare. I wrote to the only compounding pharmacy I could find (that does HCG and things that more advanced docs would use) and they recommended one who does saliva testing and other strange stuff I'm not comfortable with. I also happened to find one near me who does TRT, but a bunch of other stuff. He obviously doesn't specialize in it. I wish I could afford the dedicated TRT clinics.

Just by chance, is there anyone who lives there and knows of a good one? I'm on the near north side near Wauwatosa and Brookfield, but near the highways.

I can't help you with finding a doc, but i can recommend this.....

Do your own research and become an expert on trt. learn proper dosing, how to get your own bloodwork done without going through docs (privatemdlabs, labsmd), and learn how to interpret them and proper ranges. this way you are not relying on the doctor to tell you what to do. Finding a doctor who truly knows his stuff in this department is damn near impossible.

If you can teach yourself the proper way to trt, then you can find a doc that is open and willing to listen and you can present him what you've learned and give him an idea of what you want (hcg, aromatase inhibitor, etc). tell him you want to self inject. from there you can get your own bloodwork and dial in your protocol yourself and just see the doc maybe once or twice a year for a checkup.

The doctor doesn't necessarily need to be a specialist in trt, but you certainly should be.

That sounds like good advice. Thank you. I'm learning more and more, but have a ways to go before I get to that level.

The problem with the doc I have now is that because I have an area of thrombophlebitis (varicose veins that got hard), he has basically cut me off for now. He also won't inject more than twice a week and I can't take it home until we get the right dose (may be moot now), and won't do AI. So I do need to find another one fast, but don't know who would treat me or not. I also have this thing with the phone (anxiety).

If my level was at 1000 (too high for me) a week ago, with last injection two weeks ago, do I still have some time left before I really crash? I'm already not doing well.

thrombophlebitis is dangerous while on trt only if it negatively affects your lipid profile and blood pressure.. i would have to agree with the doc here since i dont have the full picture (labs and such)
