Anyone ever experience a 'tweak' in the nerve under the jaw?

So, I was doing seated bi curls today until failure. After the last set and putting down the barbell, I suddenly felt the area under my chin tense up, like I tweaked a nerve or something. It was VERY uncomfortable, so I had to just sit there for a few minutes massaging it. Now, about four hours later, it feels better, but still noticeable. Just curious to know who else has experienced this.

I've never had this or heard of anyone experiencing this. Could be a fluke.

I do get headaches when working out bigger muscle groups sometimes though. Or just head pains. Maybe I'm concentrating so hard I forget to breathe?

That's probably it. Sometimes I guess I tense my neck/jaw muscles without realizing it, and well... I guess I now realized it :-)

yes!!!! I have been suffering from this for years, doesnt happen often but when it does it hurts like hell, it usually happens when i have a big yawn, the whole underside of my jaw sort of locks and goes hard. the only thing i can do for it is masage it for a few minutes and the pain goes. I dont know what it is and what causes it either.

Hmm, well, I guess I know what it is now. No, seriously, it's the day after and I can still feel it a little bit. And Tereskan, I'm glad to know that I am not the only one who has experienced this. I'm gonna look up some info on this nerve now-you got me curious. Thanks for your input all of you :-)

Thank G-d! My neck and jaw were so tensed up, I seriously thought I was going to pass out when it happened. Glad to hear that it's nothing to worry about.

Yeah, I purchased some today funnily enough b/c I'm going to be starting a cycle of it in a couple of weeks. Also, I've heard that potassium and magnesium help to alieviate some of the cramping. Hey DocJ, how many mgs of taurine would you suggest I take each day while on the Clen?

It's a spasm of the digastric muscles, fairly common and nothing to worry about.
Maybe a muscle cramp? Not enough potassium? After doing a set of abs, I sat up and contracted/flexed them, and what happend was my whole abdominal area just cramped and wouldnt relax, that hurt so bad.

Same happend with my calve, I woke up to realize my calve muscle cramped up to some great pain, ouch.

Yeah, I got a really bad Charlie horse in my hamstring when I woke up yesterday. You're probably right about the low potassium.

cramp = spasm

2-3g/day but if you're taking clen I'd say at least 5g/day. Taurine is also very good for your blood vessels.

Yeah, and good for the heart as well from what I've read. Actually, Clen can take quite a toll on the heart if you fail to provide the right 'insurance' on it. Thanks, I'll do that!
