This statement is garbage. Did I ever mention my diet? dont jump to conclusions. I was taking in extra calories to keep my strength and recovery up. but not from junk food.mister69 said:You got fat, felt like shit, and looked like shit because your diet wasnt in check and you were skippin out on the cardio.
I never said this either.mister69 said:I hope you dont think that powerlifting routine= being fat.
yes there are a few, but most are not shredded. Its a different training approach for different goals. my goals have changed now and I asked for advice, not rude comments. I also said I want to keep squatting and deadlifting so Im not abandoning it all together.mister69 said:Powerlifters are heavily muscled and lots are shredded as well.

yep doesn't matter how you train, if your eating over maintance and not keeping up with cardio, you get FAT...it's all about diet/cardio IMO as far as fat goes...and the statements blackjack made, made it sound like you were blaming PL on your being fat and feeling/looking like shit...i find it also funny that you state you cleaned up your diet and started doing cardio to lose wt...hmmm but your right your diet wasn't shit and you weren't skimping on cardio prior to this wt lose either...it must have been the PL routine you were on..mister69 said:I did not make any rude comments. You said you were getting fat and the way you stated, it was related to the powerlifting routine.
No routine makes you fat, your diet is what makes you gain fat...that is all that i am saying.
shit, I did say that didnt I..adidamps2 said:i find it also funny that you state you cleaned up your diet and started doing cardio to lose wt...hmmm but your right your diet wasn't shit and you weren't skimping on cardio prior to this wt lose either...it must have been the PL routine you were on..![]()
no problem bro...we all make mistakes.blackjack said:shit, I did say that didnt I..![]()
mostly what I did here was cut carbs and threw in some thermogenics pre workout/cardio. anyway what I waas mostly getting at is the fact that I just didnt feel comfortable being 206 lbs. even though I was stronger than ever it just wasnt practical for me.
-mister69- I apologize for the quick retort about my diet and such. I get defensive sometimes when I shouldnt. thanks for the input you gave in #4 I do appreciate it.
Im still trying to adjust to being a lightweight again.
