Average time to feel something after starting

So Im sure I'll get told I'm being impatient but I've been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 10 days. I've felt nothing really. I pin Wednesday evening and Sunday morning 75mg trying to do it with no Aromatase inhibitor (AI). I've injected three times thus far. I feel the same no better, no worse. I hear these amazing success stories, just wondering when you guys started actually feeling something. Yes for someone who waited a year for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I'm an impatient little girl.

Test Cyp? will be weeks if your on cyp 4-5.

Yup test cyp 150mg per week split into two doses. No hcg for now. Total t was 195 at 27 years old and I'm a really active guy. Never done a cycle. Guess I'm just anxious to feel something. I sorta noticed the other day at work that I felt like I may pitch a tent. That hasn't happened since high school. Other than that I haven't noticed anything.

What are looking to feel? For me, my mood became much rosier the very first week. I'm 9 weeks in and seeing rapid results in the gym.

I'm 6 months in - and still waiting to feel something...

Maybe I am just weird, but at 100mg of Test Cyp E3D and 500IU of HCG E3D (for months) I can't make any gains in the gym or lose any weight or get any decent libido going on...I quit A-dex entirely close to 3 weeks ago and my E2 is only 15, which I know is low, but its been up to 29 in the past and I could not feel any difference.

But I have been working with Todd at ULV and I am going to try some Test Prop instead of the Test Cyp to see if that helps and try HCG for a few months. Todd has been great to work with and I remain optimistic...just a bit impatient and envious of all you guys posting the big wins...I hope to post some wins myself here pretty soon!

I've never heard of switching from test-cyp to another version of test... I thought they all worked the same just had different half lifes... ?

Noticed today that libido was up/sitting in class debating how I was gonna stand up. Ha haven't felt like that since high school.

Test Cyp vs. Prop

After doing some internet searching, I found several anecdotal reports where certain people feel a strong difference with either Test Cyp or Prop, with some people strongly prefering one over the other. There is good basic info here:

Todd @ ULV, or now Increase My T indicated that he has a client that, like me, dosen't seem to feel much of anyting on Test Cyp, but when he tried Prop it worked and he could actually "feel" it.

My order has not yet arrived, but I am looking forward to trying the Test Prop - I have my fingers crossed!

If you've Been on this much test for months and haven't gained you really need to look into your diet and training. That's 250mg a week. Your levels should be quite high staying above 1500. You should be making gains quite easily if everything is in check.

I started feeling less tired and workouts improved within 2 weeks. Sex drive still fluctuates after 3 months. But I have gone from 180 to 200 lbs and dropped about 5 lbs of fat down to about 11% bf in those 3 months.

Check out the steroids thread on this site, there's a sticky about 300mg vs 600mg of test. You'll see just how powerful 300mg is, and you're taking 250mg.

Keep in mind guys everyone is different and there could be other issues affecting him at play here.

The study your referring to was on healthy men, not men with ED due to LowT

I have managed quite a few guys and right when I thought everyone should metabolize their testosterone the same way, I learned that it is much more complex than that.

Some guys say they just react better to propionate.

Here is another thing to consider for those with somatopause.

Co-treatment with rhGH lowered the testosterone levels (quantified using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry) necessary to reach these lean mass thresholds.

CONCLUSION To enhance muscle strength and physical function, threshold improvements in lean body mass and appendicular skeletal muscle mass are necessary and these can be achieved by targeting changes in testosterone levels. rhGH augments the effects of testosterone. To maximize functional improvements, the doses of anabolic hormones should be titrated to achieve target blood levels.

So basically what I'm gathering from the information is that someone with really low GH secretion would need much more testosterone than the average person to enhance physical function?

Very good info, and things many of us don't think about as most of us it seems to well on test c and may not consider low gh.

I do feel it is extremely important that guys don't think just getting their test levels up is gonna make them lose fat and gain muscle all by itself.

It would be very interesting to see how some of these guys are eating as many just don't understand (like all of us before we learned) how to eat to gain mass, loose fat and keep what they've acheived. Many probably only eat 2-3 times a day and may not even know how many calories they take in may be eating junk food and just because their t is up they expect to look and feel great.

I'm not saying that anyone is or isn't eating this way but for those looking to get in shape diet should be posted and discussed (or they should be sent to the diet forum and learn from 3j and those guys) as it's the most important factor (in healthy men) to getting in shape.

just my 2 cents.

I agree hard worked can not be replaced.

Agreed, diet is definitly important

I totally agree that diet is important and I am going to connect with 3J once I get my HGH.

While I am sure that my diet is not perfect, it is fairly clean. I eat lean protien at least 3 and more often 4 times a day for a total protien intake of around 180grams. I have vegetables with lunch and with dinner and always have a green superfood shake in the morning before excercise and protien shake after exercise. One meal a week, usually friday evening, I will maybe split a pizza with the wife, but that is it for junk food. I work close to home, so for lunch I come home and have a decent meal. Often a large hamburger (no bun) and steamed vegedables. I never drink pop and only have 3 to 4 beers over the course of a week, usually one with dinner every other day. I know that I need to cut that out to help loose weight and I plan to - as soon as I start to feel someting, anything really from my Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). I also exercise 6 days a week before work.

The point I am trying to make is that I am not just sitting around eating pork rinds and potato chips and yet expecting to look like a bodybuilder after a few months of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

For me, even at 250mg of test a week, I do not have any acne, any oily skin or any sides at all, and no libido, either - in fact, other than a slight boost in energy, I don't feel anyting at all. I can't wait to see if the prop and the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) help :)
