bench help

Pushing the bar on flat and decline up and out towards the head lengthens the range of the moltion therefore not being able to lift as much weight as a shorter range. Is that really the best way for maximal chest growth? You would think pushing out shortening the range more weight being used would mean more growth. I take you word for it big. Tommorows chest day so Ill see what happens.

the range of motion may be lengthened but the bar still travels the same distance up. so with that said which one is easier? push an object up a mild incline or a steep incline?

besieds that look at the stress keeping the bar down low the entire motion puts the delts under. it is unnatural to bench below the shoulder joint.

go to any top level PLing meet and watch the benchers. almost everyone of them benches belly to head. why? cause you can move more weight this way. if you benching in a straight line and get stuck you are stuck. if the bar is moving in arc then if you stuck you can let the bar slide towards you a bit to get it moving again.

if you wanna bench down low fine by me. it has been proven numerous times by many many people to not be as effective.
