Anyone here do it and really regret it?

*Not going to do it anytime soon*
Im young, 22 and natural levels are low 500s even before cycling. I know testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is going to be in my future. Interested on getting your guys' opinions/ experiences

Thanks

Its not all fun and games. I'm young with low T. Theres a lot of sides you have to deal with and health factors. My quality of life is way better than it used to be and I feel good about myself for once. Never recommend this to anyone that doesn't already need TRT. Trust me, its much better to have good natty levels than to be on all the time.

Well I'm glad its working out for you man.

I just don't feel that great at those levels and don't know if its worth even trying to recover to for my goals after a point.

Definitely not going to rush into it. I understand its a huge decision. Just trying to get some insight since I'm curious.

have you thought about running clomid post cycle therapy (pct) just to see if it will jump start your natural test.

also low dose aromasin or proviron would free bound test by lowering shbg which would leave more available test for you to use.

My levels were like half yours. Low 500s isn't a place to even consider testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at 22 imo. Dawg gave some good advice, those things may help you.

I'm going to pick up some clomid soon and see if what thatll do since I feel like torem isnt cutting it on this pct

Is it possible a year and a half of heavy pot use and drinking multiple times a week during the first year of college could have messed them up (not in a frat anymore)? I felt like they were significantly higher in high school.

I appreciate the help guys

I would normally say 500+ is not a time to consider testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), but there are more and more studies showing you can still be symptomatic with what's considered normal TT ranges. That being said I can't imagine many docs would even be willing to consider testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at 22 with 500 TT.

For guys who truely need it, it's much better than the alternative. But it can be time consumin up front getting tested frequently, adjusting doses, and managing sides. Some docs aren't willing to look at estro which is rediculous. If you look at the studies, estro control appears to be as or more important than t levels. Men with high E levels seem to have a higher rate of mortality at young ages. But this is because of obesity and other factors, and you can't pin estro as the cause just a correlation to many issues/disease.

I would suggest another post cycle therapy (pct) if you haven't recovered and if you have blood work to determine all your levels. Many times, more time is needed for your body to stabilize and hormones to balance. We have all gotten to a point where we look to use something else to try and fix each issue but ancilliarys should be used to reduce symptoms and help control sides not to be a cure or fix.

Time natural is the best option for most people.

I am 22 and my natural levels are much worse than yours, never cycled. I haven't seen my primary about it yet but what kind of advice do you guys have in terms of options, the pluses and minuses of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), what to ask the doctor, ect. also, with low natural test levels would it be ok to go ahead and run a cycle (if I can get my hands on some test)

Holy crap Bullseye Forever: your test levels are 3000!!!
One thing I don’t understand is when you guys on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) say you feel great what do you mean by this.
I am 45 my test levels are 180 on one test and 350 on another one a month later so after forcing my Endo to put me on something he put me on gel I know now to have him put me on shots next month when I go back but I don’t understand when you guys say you feel great its only been a month for me and I feel no different I understand it may take up to two 2 month before I feel anything but what will I feel???

no man,my levels arent 3000 lol,i was just commenting on the picture of the girl lol...my levels usually are in the 500's while im on my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose

Bullseye Forever;
Can I ask what all you are taking on your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and are you a client of Maximus. The reason I am asking is my doctor wants to get my levels up to around 500 but it seem most of the other people on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) keep there levels more around 1000 so I am surprised to see you are around the 500 range.

Can anyone please explain how I can convert "500", for example, into ng/ml. I tested at 1.8 ng/ml before I began testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) last year and am having a hard time wrapping my head around these differing values...

And on topic...I was diagnosed with low T last year at age 37 and it was a godsend as I knew I wasn't simply depressed and there were no other reasons for feeling as I did ( e.g. classic symptoms).

To the OP, ongoing testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can be a pain, especially if it is costly for your testosterone and injects, you can't get a doctor to prescribe you "sides" , such as HCG to keep your balls fashionably plumped, or you move and can't get your prior preferred testosterone....BUT it all pales compared to actually having low test!

And I will do a bit of a blast now...and then will consider whether to post cycle therapy (pct) and get my values checked, or will just cruise again (as my doctor believes I'm primary hypogonaidism-in which case I'd be fucked...but I'll keep the board up on my run.

im taking test cyp at 300mg/week and aromasin 4mg/day and no i see an Endo i wish i could use chip though, but i have insurance,so it wont cover Chip

I should have mentioned that I want to start competing and don't think I would be able to do well at my height (6'2) if I didn't blast and cruise

Blast/cruise at your age is not a good idea regardless whether you want to compete or not.

It is just not necessary and will increase your likelihood of side effects.

I competed in the nationals twice and never did any blast/cruise type of program.

A good 12 week cycle of test every 6 months is more than enough to help you build quality muscle provided you are totally committed to your diet and training.
