I am new to this forum. I wish I had found it sooner. I have learned a lot by reading the posts on here. These people seem a lot more informed than most Dr I have talked to. I am 58 years old, 5ft 8in tall and weigh 220 lbs.
My initial labs are as followed
E2 14.3
total test 293
SHBG 30
DHES188.7
My lab results after 90 days are
Hematocrit 53.4
wbc 6.00
t4, free 1.1
t3,free 3.8
estradiol 24
dhea sulfate 183
total test1320
free test 339.3
cortisol8.9
After I started I felt great for about 3 weeks and seems like I have gone down hill some since then. I don't have the energy, libido or morning erections like I was having. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I have full lab results if necessary. Thanks a lot

I forgot to put what I was taking
150mg test cyp E7d
anastrozole .5mg twice a week
hcg 11000 units .25 ml twice a week

it would help to know when you had your labs drawn compared to when you had your last shot. You need to read the "Basic TRT Overview" sticky at the top of the forum as well.

Do you know if your estradiol lab was the Regular or Sensitive Assay? If it was Regular, 24 may be too low. If you are not sure, post the reference range which might help us figure out which one it was.

You need to donate blood. Your hematocrit is too high.

Posting your full labs would be helpful. And include the reference ranges.

labs were drawn 5 days after injection of test. my schedule is
Mon .25 HCG
Tues .25 HCG
Wed 150 Test
Thurs .5 anastrazole
Fri .5 anastrazolr

I am thinking you had the regular estradiol assay. That isn't accurate at the lower levels found in men. It typically is 10-20 points above what your estradiol is truly sitting at. Most guys want their E2 to be between 20-40. You are likely sitting somewhere between 4-14.

Any joint pain? Fatigue? Those are common symptoms of Low E2.

I would get a sensitive E2 lab if you can. And try backing off on the anostrozole. Actually, if you tried splitting your test dose into 75mg every 3.5 days you might be able to stop using an AI entirely.

So to put things into perspective, following a E7D protocol you are reaching a 1320 level of Test on day 5. You are probably hitting 1500, 1600+ halfway during the week. I would scale back on the test and split up the dose. Instead of 150mg's on Wednesdays try 60mg's every Monday and Tuesday.

Ever tested SHBG, DHT, Prolactin?

Okay a few minor changes that should have you feeling great in just a few weeks.

-Lower your test dosage to say 100mgs per week split into two 50mgs injections. (this should still keep you around 800+ test level.) Your Total T is 200 points over the top of the range. Plus your free test is double the range because of your ai lol!

-Drop the AI entirely!!! Your symtpoms are from low E2 most likely if not caused by a thyroid adrenal insufficiency .

-Don't know how many ius of hcg you are taking but it sounds like a lot. Please specify.

You also need to donate blood ASAP( don't think you'll have to continue donating after you lower your test dosage)

Lastly your coritsol is low which is a sign of adrenal problems and possible thyroid problems. Have you had a full thyroid panel done>>>?

By the way your schedule is silly. You don't want to shoot hcg back to back unless you are taking very small doses( say 100ius daily). Same with arimidex, taking that two days in a row isn't wise, especially at your dosages.

Just do
M AM-50mg cyp
T-hcg
W-
Th PM-50mg CYP
F-hcg
Sat
Sun

Thanks for the advice. had a thyroid testing and all was good.
the HCG I take is 11000 units-.25ml 2 times a week
How soon after making changes to your protocol can you check blood again. don't want to waste money and go to soon

I think jows7 made a typo in the 60mg every Mon. and Tues. They should be Mon. morning, and Thurs. night.

Thanks everyone. I am waiting for the clinic to get back with me. would definitely have gone different route had I knew about this site.

Give the new protocol at least a month. If you're feeling good, 6 weeks.

How many units of hcg does that come out to be?

hcg comes out at 2750 units twice a week. how does that compare

Insanely high? Most take 250 units twice a week.

Are you sure you're calculating the dose correctly? You're assuming a concentration of 11000units/ml, that would be very high. 1000 would be more typical, like 5000 units dissolved in 5ml of bac water.

Yes this is why I asked as your dose seemed high. sustaining that dose can cause some serious damage to the boys.
Lower it down to 250 units 3 times a week, this will get rid for the need of anastrozole.
250ius seems to perseve testicular size and fertility in most men, and no one really goes over 500ius.

Monday AM-50mg Cyp, 250 units hcg
Tuesday-
Wednesday-250 units hcg
thursday PM-50mgs cyp
Fri-250 units hcg

re=test bloods in 4-6 weeks

I read the bottle wrong I am taking 500 units twice a week. Thanks for questioning this.

To know the concentration and the dose you need to know what volume of bac water it was mixed with... did you reconstitute it yourself? I'm guessing it is more than 1ml, or your bottle would only contain 4 doses or 2 weeks.

EDIT: looks like you figured it out while I was quoting!
