What bodyfat percentage is ideal to see results from var. I'm looking to finish my cut with 70mg ed for 8 weeks along with 250mg test

Edit: Not looking to get crazy low just 7-8%

hah just 7-8% huh? thats about what ifbb pros compete at lol that's very low. i'd say if you're under 12% bf you will get the best results. I think you will see good results at a higher bf as well, but under 12% would be optimal IMO. that's what i'm shooting for for my next run with var in the spring

just a note... 7-8% is crazy low... and like I've said many times before, walking around day-to-day at under 10% yearround is uncomfortable

like mentioned above, 12%ish is good... looks good and feels good (this is the percentage most pros stay around off-season)

well im at 11 or 12 right now, I was under the impression that IFBB pros compete at 5 or less. I got to 8 natty the last two summers and now have like 20 lbs more lbm and am running t3 to I figure 8 will be easy. @ fitguy my diet is on point year round, when I cut I'll go 8 weeks without cheating ez

15% or less you will see results. But the lower you go the better results you will see. And the IFBB boys compete at much less than 7-8% lol. Ive seen a video of Ronnie getting his BF tested and he was under 1%.

what kind of testing was that bro? only the submersion test is 100% accurate, and with that test under 5% is nearly impossible... under 5% internal organs begin to shut down

under 1% you'd be dead already...

impossible... at 3% percent you can't stand up, literally

where are people getting these numbers from??

thats why i said "they say". i'm very skeptical of these numbers myself. i think 5-7 is more realistic and it's what i've read. these guys have enough muscle that they dont have to be under 5% to have insane definition.

It was the submersion test, I saw the video years ago, I cant remember where I saw it, Id love to find it and post it. He was under 1%. Ya I couldn't believe it but that dude is a freak of nature anyways, lol

Yea I remember dorian saying in a interview I believe that's where I heard it at least that he was in the mid 3% and his heels were hurting like a bitch because the normal pad of fat you have there was gone lol, I always thought the best ifbb pros hit the Olympia stage at 3-4 and lesser competitors in lower comps get to the stage at 4-5. I don't think getting to 8 is difficult if you have good genetics which I do and have some self control, which I also have

a perfect example of having less than perfect genetics for bodybuilding, but overcoming it with hard work and dedication. guy lifted harder than almost anyone...hence why his career ended earlier than he wanted.
