BULKING- Better to eat healthy but less or ALOT of anything?

..Becuase it's impossible to get 5,000 CLEAN calories a day.

With junk food you can eat 2500 calories in 1 meal. If you've been reading this post 80% of people have been advising me to eat everything in site meaning JUNK (tv dinners, mcdonalds, kfc, fried foods, ice cream, ext) ...
if iv learned anything over the years, its that 80% of people are WRONG

I would like to try jamyjamjr's program if its slightly tweakable, but if not I think eating everything is the best solution for me to gain as much weight as possible.

you gotta take those taste buds and show em whos boss on a diet. drinking egg whites out of a carton doesnt taste like an ice cream cone but its way damn better for you

lol, I hear ya... I could probably down those egg whites much better then the fish. Idk why, but fish just makes me puke lol.
 
bros... I think I made a big mistake which really sucks.. I stepped on my scale today and it said 168.. I've been using this scale for like a yeaar now and always thought I was that weight. Went over to a friends house and for shits and giggles I stepped on his electric scale.... 184 pounds!! WTFF!? I even put a 30lb dumbell on the scale to test it and it was right on the money. This whole time I was fuckin 16 pounds off! My new goal I guess is around 200-205 now since I based what I wanted to gain off my looks instead of my weight. Does that sound possible at 5'8? I've heard that at 5'8 you plateau around 180 pounds which is probably why I've had such a hard time gaining for the longest time, does that sound correct?

OK......here's my view.

I was a hard gainer. I ate everything in sight BUT I made sure half at least were made up of lean Steaks, Lasagna with Ground Sirloin and so much Spaghetti with ground Sirloin it was all my family thought I ate! I also got a good weight gainer. A good 1000 calorie shake a day after I just stuffed myself with a Sirloin and a Baked Potato smothered with Cheddar. 90% of the time I could hold it down but every once in a while i'd have to run outside to puke. Sure Id get Big Mac meals and heavy calorie foods that werent dieting foods by any means the combo worked.

I was way young and way skinny when I juiced. I was 18 and 148 lbs when I first cycled. I studied everything I could and even did speeches my Senior high school yr and in college on use and abuse of steroids. I reached my height and width potential as I was as tall and wide as my brothers so a common side of early use which is growth plate closure in the bones was not a factor. Like you, steroids were like magic. My cycles were only 8 wks and only Sostenon 250 e/w and Winstrol @ 50 mgs eod and gained 20 solid lbs. Ive gone from 148 lbs natural to 240 lbs @ 5'9" with the help of AAS's.
As you can see, steroids dosages at first were a small factor in a way yet it was amazing with all of the compliments and weight that was out of reach to be lifting was some how in my grasp.

Point is....if you are going to juice, Im not gonna throw rocks at ya. All Im saying is eat like a beast, train your ass off, get enough rest and use the minimal amount of gear needed. Also...try to stay away from orals...your Liver will love ya for it)
Hope this helps and btw...I was taking in about 3800 to 4200 calories a day.

Ill wake up take a shake. Honestly right after a shake ill be really full so ill shower, get dressed and ready for the day then have something like oatmeal with whole milk, 2-3 scrambled eggs on 2 peices of wheat or multigrain bread, shredded mini wheat cereal or honey bunches of oats cereal. I dont have a plan on what I eat on which days, but as for morning food thats my choices.


my first snack will be like penut butter and jelly, nutrigrain bars, granola bars, some penuts or sunflower seeds, string cheese, fruit and or carrot sticks. The worst thing ill eat would be like whole grain goldfish or pretzels

Lunch I'll most likely eat some kind of meat and just throw it in my little foreman grill. 90% of the time it will be chicken or steak so chicken or steak. Won't lie to you, lots of the time i'll eat JUST the meat alone for lunch, but ill eat ALOT of it. Trust me I TRY and eat, I eat food as if it were a supliment, even when im full I try to keep on stuffing.


After lunch I might have a snack I might not. If I do it would most likely did it wouldnt be something I would make cuz im busy mid day. Either granola bars or string cheese. Maybe the wholegrain goldfish.



Dinner choices include - Pasta, steak, chicken, those mixed veggie bags, eggs, wheat bread, and some others.


The morning is always 100%, the dinner is always 100% Sometimes I miss the snacks or lunch. Never both.

I guess you could say im a sloppy healthy eater. I eat healthy but the times I eat vary and the quantity I eat varies. I eat until im stuffed. Ill cook 1 package of chicken. If I can eat the whole thing, ill cook another pack and keep eating until im full.

aright.. to the OP... what do you have available???

i can tell u right now u need to get protien in EVERY MEAL of your day.. so dont think a pband j is gonna do anything for you.. the total amount of protien needed a day should be evenly divided between 6-8 meals...

are u still saying u cant come home from work and cook?? just throw 8 pieces of chicken into the over for 40 min?? that would last you 3 days..

how about beef jerkey?? u can do that once a day.. u'll bloat a little but we can deload sodium when u wanna cut

cant u stop at a supermarket and pick up a whole roasted chicken??

can u carry a cooler??? how about powdered egg whites?? how about pasturized liquid egg whites or eggs?

its time for you to get creative.. a nutragrain bar is crap.. granola bars by themselves are crap... eat whole foods.. try to cook your own meals..

how about subway? do u have access to a subway?? its not the best of choices but its better then most..

how about shwarma? middle eastern food??


tell me what you have access to..

even deli meat, to its limitation is better then most things..

sometimes when im on the run and hungry, ill go pick up 8oz of sliced chicken and scarf it down.. doesn't taste good but gets the job done
 
awesome info and insight for me...to whoever said most bodybuilders are OCD that is me too the tee...now that you guys are saying this i know I can lighten up a bit. I'll still try to eat mostly good food but now I wont feel obligated to skip the fastfood to spend an extra hour searching for goodstuff.
 
hey guys, sorry I havent been on in a while, fuckin got arrested last week and just been tied up with lawyers and shit... jamy, i've been cooking a few packs of chicken in bulk with some rice and a few other things and bringing them on the road with me. I've been going to subway like 4 times a week too. I'll still have my granolas, string cheese and other snack foods on hand, but been trying to always have meat with almost all of my meals... Never heard of shwarma and what kind of middle eastern food is good?

You must have time off from time to time? Spend a couple hours prepping an ass load of food. Bin it and freeze some of it, take it out the night before, voila......fast food.

Day 1 - 6am girlfriend came over made me a weight gainer/protein shake. Drank and went back to bed.

10:45 - 2 packs of oatmeal w/ milk and a 12oz bag of frozen broccoli

12:30 - 12 inch wheat sub w/ chicken breast and american cheese from subway

2:40 - 2 large peices of chicken and peas, carrots and 3 oz of wholegrain goldfish

6:20 - 6 slices turkey bacon on 2 whole grain english muffins and 2 gogurt sticks

8 - 10 gram grackers with penut butter

10:40 tbone steak and 2 grilled cheese sandwiches w/ wheat bread and american cheese.

12:30 - shake before bed
----------------------------------------

Next day -

6am - girfriend makes me shake i drink and go back to bed.

11:45 ish - 1 bowl of cheerios, 1 bowl of shredded miniwheats both with wholemilk

1:30 - 2 penut butter granola bars and maybe a serving of wholegrain goldfish

3:45 - no wheat available so I got a 12 inch rye with chicken and cheese again from the deli

8pm - 1 pack of frozen veggies (carrots, peas, colliflower, water chestnuts and brocolli) and 3 very small steaks with worstichier sauce.

10:30 - 1 penutbutter only sandwich and like 6 prezel rods.

12:10 - shake before bed
 
just looked at the weight gainer incase you needed to know - its the dymatize super mass gainer.. got a good deal on 10 of the 12 pound boxes so ive been using it for a pretty long time now. It's 1,280 calories, 52 grams of protein, 8 grams fat, 2 grams saturated fat, 2 grams trans fat, 252 grams of carbs and lemme know if you need any other details.. It's also got added glutamine, bcaa's and creatine.
