Can puffy nips come from rapid testosterone level changes?

As some around here know, I have fought gyno for a while. Real gyno - formed pre-TRT - large masses that were just removed from my left pec. The right was left as is, which means the gland wasn't removed. Anyway, my other struggle is I have had low estrogen, under 20 on the sensitive Labcorp test, since starting TRT. Even with a TT of 1200, my estrogen was under 20.

Recently, in an attempt to get estrogen it up, I changed my injection frequency from EOD to E3.5D. At the same time, I also increased my weekly dose from about 100-120 to 140-150. Within a week or two of doing it, my right nip, which has always been flat, puffed a bit and got extra sensitive. As a gyno expert, I freaked out and got my adex and Nolva ready. I had a few days before my labs, so I waited on taking the adex and Nolva.

Just got the results of my draw, taken during the period of puffy evil nipple, which shows my TT as 996 and E as 19 (3-70). Obviously, my E isn't high, and not even in the sweet spot.

So - what the hell caused the puff? My last TT reading a few weeks back was like 750. Could the rapid jump from 700ish TT to 1000 cause the puff? Anyone else get a puff of additional sensitivity just from changes despite E staying in check?

EDIT - One other change that might be relevant - I also added 50mg pregnenolone tablets about a week before the puff party because I don't use HCG. I've heard in large doses this can cause issues - but I find it hard to believe since most reading I have done says the tablets are barely even effective.

Thanks,
Jim

I am in the same boat. My sensitive e2 has been below 20
on the 2 tests I had and my regulnar e2 as high as 34. I don't have any low e2 symptoms but have had nipple issues twice.

This last time is lumps under nipples. Had a ultrasound yesterday and was told that they are fibrous tissue. We'll my dr going on the 2 nipple flare ups the first :

White rings around areola and a lump right above the areola it cleared up I used tomax for a week then raloxifene for a week don't know of it went away on its own or not

And this curent one

Dr wants to start me on adex she said that it sounds like it's hormone related and that just because I have the peak and trough e2 readings doesn't mean it didn't spike after I got the peak work done.

Very frustrating cause from everything I read here on e2 leads me to believe mine us low.

Maybe you and I are exceptions to the rule.

Two questions for you hiram1st...

1) Did it happen when you were getting used to a specific dose/making changes?
2) Did it happen when introducing HCG?

I have been on 100mg e7d for the last 3 months and have 2 issues with nipples in the past 2 months. So it wasn't directly related to a dosage change. I could be having issues due to fluctuation in bf have been shedding alot of weight and bf i'm thinking that may have something to do with it.

No HCG

Hum. Maybe you are sensitive to the slight spike in estrogen and should split dose? Just thinking outloud here... since I obviously don't have the answer... hence my post :)

Lol that makes 2 of us without the answers.

Have been thinking about getting protocol upped to bring up e2. Had blood work yesterday no results yet but based on them going to review protocol with dr she wants my trough around 7 to 800 range based on what is decided on total dIse I may start the e3.5d and see if that helps.
