Cardio Help

I have been doing AM cardio (stationary bike) on an empty stomach as a part of a bulking cycle every other day for 30 minutes. This is my problem...

I am a college student and living that lifestyle generally means later nights than "typical" working people. Generally I wake up at about 10am and I am busy until 5pm, I train from ~6pm to 7:30pm and am in bed at about 1am.

I was wondering if there was any other time that I could do cardio that would be any where near as beneficial as AM cardio. I don't mind waking up an hour earlier and doing the 30 minutes of cardio followed by shower, etc... but I would like to find a place that would better fit my schedule.

The main issues I have are:

A. As hard as I try to go to bed earlier, it seems to never work and waking up earlier cuts into my sleep.
B. Doing AM cardio ends up taking a full hour out of the morning. This is a problem because generally I shower at night before bed and wake up in the morning ready to go.

I was thinking about doing the EOD cardio at ~10pm, after I have my PWO shake and meal...

any feedback is welcome.... and check out my Log http://www.steroidology.com/forum/showthread.php?t=125110

what about directly after training?

i like that idea, but I do my cardio in my apartment because its actually bearable

could I maybe workout, come home and eat, then do cardio??

cuz I'm just trying to keep the cardio up to maintain a healthy heart and keep the bf around the same %

i wouldnt eat...but im not sure if the time in between the gym and your apt would make a difference... i dont think it would, so you'd prolly be all set.

Id do a total cardio like eliptical or treadmill. Bike imo does little overall, except for legs and some abs.

I'm not looking for anything to shed bf, etc... I am just looking to keep the bf in check along with the heart pumping

as for the ride back to my apt from the gym, its about 3 minutes... just far enough not to walk

do it anytime during the day on off days.

fasted state low intensity cardio, fed state high intensity cardio, barbell complexes, HIIT sprints, whatever.

I'm w/evan bro. Only because over the past year I've tried to revamp and have done it numerous ways. Directly after training seemed to be best when I had your same goal for cardio. Just try it for a few weeks, it you can't get in the groove, go back. Doesn't hurt to try.

I just hate having the long gym sessions... I put ALL my effort into training, I mean when I'm done I'm wiped out and the last thing I can do is spend another 30-40 minutes on an elliptical. I think I'm just going to rock out the AM cardio (plus it helps me eat more)

If your not looking to decrease body fat you shouldn't do long periods of cardio because then your going to tap into your fat stores but if your looking to build cardio your gonna have to sacrifice fat Kcal's, you can get a good cycle workout in that uses primarily anaerobic metabolism and it doesn't have to be too long 25-35 mins, do intervals, every 2 minutes go up in grade, but for the first 10-15 seconds of every minute go as hard as you can then jog the next 45-50 seconds then hit another sprint, once you get up to level 11 or 12 work your way back down, it will build muscle and not burn as much fat as a longer light cardio workout would
