cycle is done!

Gains
Curls: Start 80lbs bar/dumbbells End: 130lbs bar/dumbbells

Butterflys: Start: 30lbs each arm End: 50lbs each arm

Pull Overs: Start: 30lb dumbbell End: 60lb dumbbell

Bench: Start & End: 250lbs. shoulder injury/flare up stopped progress.

Weight: Start: 176lbs End: 202lbs. started PCT

Not to be a negative nancy, but those gains just don't make much sense to me judging by your cycle. You say you gained 26 lbs. That's pretty damn ridiculous honestly. If so, congrats. Let's see some before/after photos. There's got to be a night and day difference.

As for your curls, what do you mean 80 lbs. barbell/dumbells? So, 80 lbs. on a barbell and 40 lb. dumbells in each hand?

If that's the case, then a +50 lb. increase to 130 lb. curls is insane! That equates to 65 lb. dumbells in each hand.

You gotta be jacked. I'm not sure even 5% of the members on here can curl 65 lb. dumbells.

250 lb. bench press is pretty solid. That's somewhat of an odd number of plates. On each side of the barbell, you have two 45's, one 10's, and one 2.5?

I'm sure you could just switch up those 2.5 lb. plates for 5 lb. plates and be fine. I'm not even sure my gym has 2.5 lb. plates anywhere near the benches

X2. I was thinking the same thing on a few points. If your curling that much with bar and or DB's you should be able to bench way more than 250lbs I would think. Def. get some pics up that much weight in that amount of time is nuts! However, I'm the type of person that will take your word for it (no reason to lie right). Get pics though....lol

And next time your at the gym re-evaluate your bench. I think with what your curling that you should at least be around the 315lbs mark.

I curl 65lb Dumbells (which is about my max) about 7-9 times, and can bench 315 without much concern. Let us know!

he has about 3 threads with pictures in the picture forum, that is why im asking for a video because by looking at his befor and after pics you can barly see a defference, if he can lift what he says he can, well thats the day ill beleave pigs fly, check out his pics

i can tell you i have alot more on this kid. and i dont even curl 130 on a BB the best i get is 110 on it with corect form. and DB i do standing curls 3x10 with 60lbs and preacher 70 single arm.
my best bench is 405 on the smith and 315 free. now i rep 315 at 3x5
i'm 230 6 foot and 18.5 inch arms.
there is no way he is doing any of this and if he is its with no form at all.

Im with you guys 100%, but I will admit that for whatever reason I struggle on BB bench like no other. I can curl 135 BB for about 5 without much movement, same with DB's I can get the 60-65's a few times, but I dont think I can bench much more than 225x8-10 and no way in hell I can touch 315..Ive never maxed and dont use BB too much because the gym doesnt have it(shitty gym) but Ive never even put up 275 cleanly

There was absolutely no change to the before and afters with this kid... except the length of his beard. So unless he gained 26lbs of facial hair... I gotta throw up the :bsflag:

the only way ill beleave you can bench 250lbs is if you post a video, prove me wrong!

WOw! Not so hard to believe! I was 172lbs & repped 250lbs. I did 315 twice. I dont have a vid, but can truely give a rats culo if u dont believe. :-)

if you were 172 and have some decent muscule mass id have not one problem beleaving you, its just that the pictures he posted barly looks like he works out bro, no one should care who beleaves them im just sayin you can lie to us but not to your self

Yeah, most def.

Points well made. I just don't believe really much of anything in this thread and it's ashame...why lie? I don't get it. If I were to say I bench 2xx or whatever, but I don't, it doesn't make a difference.

I mean shit, we all have our strong parts and weak parts. Some of us are beasts at benching, but weaker in other areas. It varies. I'm not a huge dude, nor am I a small dude. I'm about 5'9" 200 lbs. 17 1/4" arms and I curl 40's. Could I do more weight? Probably, but I do my 3 sets of perfect technique and boom, I'm done.

I don't get the whole lying part. I could careless if you bench 135 or 400+, but don't lie!!!

Oh and shoulder injury/flare up? Explain this one. What kind of injury are we talking about here?

The only lift affected was your bench? However, all your other lifts were able to increase with this injury?

Im not that big, but im a strong mofo. Mainly on bench tho. My squats were horrible! Embarrassing, actually lol
