dead trouble...

i ve been workin out since half a decade n never cared for deadlifts till now..since january i have been doing veryheavy deadlifts twice a week and i think its awesome, buttt....

i had a 28 inches waist till jan and now its 29 inches (whih i dont mind) but there is a bit of love handle appearing ... so is it something related to deadlifts? i know deads do thicken waist but love handles?? is it really cuz of deads?

i m overall muscular with 12-13 percent body fat..
what do u guyz have to say??
 
Deads will not cause love handles, but your 12-13% bodyfat will. No exercise will add bodyfat, that comes from excess calories. Your love handles should disappear once you lower your bodyfat.
 
i think u r right.. but u know, i have really not increased or decreased my calorie intake... but yeh i m having laods of milk these days,, 99,99% fat free skimmed milk...

can i blame skimmed milk for love handles...


i m so pissed off with this stuff that i m doing 1000s of rope crucnhes and side bents ,,,oh god help meee
 
Milk was used in the 60's as a staple for bulknig the increse in milk has probalby helped ot add an inch to your waist

Working the muscles under the fat isn't going to do anything to your handles. Add cardio or lower calories to get rid of them.

think this through logically how can doing any activity lifting running jerking off cause you to gain fat???????

Its diet. Milk has quite a bit of sugar in it (i think about 12g or so per 8oz) which isn't so bad, but when u drink a gallon or so a day it adds up. I'm toning now, so I cut milk all together(well almost all together, i have 12oz every morining of skim) I lost 8lbs in about 1wk. Now, thats not all due to milk, but I bet about 4 or 5lbs of it was. (I used to drink 1 gal. a day when bulking). If u're trying to tone up, cut way down on the milk and maybe cut some carbs 2. Also add some cardio and those love handles should disappear.
 
shahbaz deadlift will increase the ab region same happened to me and my buddy dont over do it if you wanna have a small waist also make sure you dont hold your breath on ur way up tis will effect ur ab and u dont wanna get hernia lol btw it builds thicker abs not fat

the 60's?? man, i still use it.
When i first started lifting and my metabolism was rip roaring, i used to drink a gallon of whole milk every day. My mom couldnt keep it in the house.
2500 calories or so per gallon. 126g of protein.
That shit threw weight on like a champ.

In my opinion, there is really no need for weight gainer powder. You want to add extra calories? Add in a big glass of milk at the end of every meal. When you are full, you can always fit sme liquid. At the end of the day, you tacked on nearly 1k calories. all for about 1 dollar.

If it makes baby calfs grow into big cows and bulls, it will work for you.
there is a reason in my opinion why milk comes out of tits, and not ice tea or water or soda. Because it provides damn near everything your body can take for growth.

my personal opinion.
 
Johny J thats was real good what u said i cant agree more excellent advice, one thing i noticed i do get a little pudgy if i take in a whole bunch uv dairy products
