Hey everyone, I"m new to this whole thing and not exactly computer literate. I need some help/advice! A little about me first, I am 47 years old, 320lbs, & have no motivation to work out because I am depressed, & sick and tired of living with this beer gut. I used to lift when I was in my 20's & looked & felt great. I need a serious confidence builder, & I need it now!!!!! I need to loose weight, & get rid of this gut. Many people have told me to take Winstrol, & hit the gym, I have never done any type of steroids before but I am desperate for some quick results, & need to get out of this funk. Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Get a trainer and someone who knows about nutrition.
Also, counciling and seeing your Dr. is a start for your depression.
See what resources are in you community.
Leave the gear alone.

Three things:

1) There is a guy by the name of 3J here. He has helped countless guys here with their diets and training. His prices are very reasonable. His ad is on the right of the screen. See his before and after pics and testimonials. This would be money well spent. Don't run a cycle. Maybe a ketogenic diet would be something to consider. Nothing is better for losing fat quickly.

2) Get some blood work done to make sure your hormones are OK. Low T can wreak havoc on you. Ask your doc to run it or you can do it yourself by going to the place in my signature line below. Use the Private MD - Buy Lab Tests Online one. If you post the results we can help you interpret them. For you I recommend getting the Hormone Panel for Males even though it costs a bit more than the one listed below. Get a Sleep Study done too to check for apnea.

3) Just try to start walking. Go over lunch. Pick the far parking spot. Go after work. Just find some time. If you can muster it, find a sport to play too. And eventually when you feel a bit better try to make it to the gym to lift weights. Little by little you can make progress.

^^^^^^^^^^^ exactly what he said

Was in your boat about 4 months ago looking for the magic pill to help fix me. Instead I got an education in biology and nutrition. Learned I was low t and what to do about it. By following advice given here. No more depression for me.

I hired 3j and am very pleased with the results. Not where I want to be yet but making progress every week.

There is so much you need to learn before you start any steroid use make sure you do and don't listen to the bros in the gym do your own homework.

Megatron is dead on with all his suggestuons. Blood work crucial so you have a base line before you alter anything.

Just letting you know you not the only one having the problems your having.

Good luck

That is EXACTLY what happened to me 4, almost 5 years ago. Couldn't make progress in the gym any more, and was losing the battle for my health.

DEFINITELY worth looking into.

I would get blood work checking testosterone, estradiol, and thyrotropin(TSH) to start. Being obese is known to induce hypogonadism in males(low testosterone) and weight loss has been shown to reverse it sometimes. Halfwit used to be really fat, so he knows exactly where you're coming from. Chances are you probably have low testosterone, high estradiol and/or hypothyroidism. Being fat wrecks havoc on your body, so staying lean and doing exercise regularly is one of the best ways to stay very healthy.

First you need to calculate your BMR(basal ********* rate) This is how many calories(energy) you burn in a day. Let's say this number is 2,000. You want to eat less than 2,000 calories. If you eat 1,500, that's a 500 deficit, and you will burn 500 calories worth of fat. A pound of fat equals 3,500 calories. That means at that rate, you will burn a pound of fat in a week(500x7=3,500). It doesn't always work out exactly like that, but it does the job. Now someone who is really overweight can probably lose weight just by eating "clean" , higher protein and less carbs and fats and moderate cardio/resistance training. There are many ways to approach fat loss, just know that you CAN lose weight and you WILL get as lean as you want if you are consistent and do the right things. If you have any questions in regards to diet/nutrition/training feel free to ask.

Met@bolism is a bad word 'round these parts it seems :nopity:
