Do steroids accelerate aging?

I'm looking for scientific evidence, not opinions or statements about how you look younger than you are because you jack yourself in your nutsack with 3grams of Test a day /jokes.

Seriously though, could anyone point me to any scientific journals/evidence, particularly with twin studies?

Huh???

Maybe I'm growing illiterate in my age but it seems like the subject doesn't match the body here....

You're asking if steroids accelerate aging, but then you ask if you look younger....

It was a mere example, incorporated with humor, of what someone would say if they were to use the argument from personal experience fallacy, or give their opinions, none of which I'm interested in.

Ok..let me put it this way...when you're younger and you add more test inside your body...you might be or look a little older because you are now shaving or have androgenic properties becoming more prevalent.

Now when you get older and let say this person never did test as he's say about 50-60 years old and now wants to use test....he may look younger and feel healthy and be stronger and the skin is more healthy looking since the surge of estrogen is helping like hair, nail, skin with the added test.

Fountain of youth? Yup

But wouldn't the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) cancel out the estrogen?

I think realistically it depends on your age... If you are like 21 to 25 it might make you look a bit older because you will get more facial hair and you will get bigger and wider. But If you are older like 36 to 45 it might make you look a little younger. Because you will be tightening up your saggy body with new muscle and loosing fat. Lol not that people in that age group have a saggy body but what I am saying is you will have a firmer look to your body a younger harder look. That most people don't have at a certain age anymore.

But if you stay on top of your health even from 36 to 45 I bet steroids wouldn't make you look any younger. The only case where it would is if you had low Testosterone at those ages. I find though the older a guy gets the more it comes down to diet to look good. You really have to keep track of what you are eating to stay lean the older you get. You have to have almost a NPC competitor type life style to look great in your mid 40's with no steroids.

I can tell you from experince, being in my fifties, that it does make a drastic difference IMO.

Now is it due to the magical properties of steroids or is it a direct reflection of the physical and mental work you put into your lifestyle? I believe for the most part, it is directly related to the physical and mental work you put into your lifestyle. Of course steroids do help the process.

However, lifestyle in combination with steroids is the key. On their own they won't do much for the chain-smokin, alcoholic that's simply rubbin gel on his chest, eatin chips and guzzlin beer every night.

There is quite an increase in oxidative stress cused by aas use, directly and indirectly, that def impacts aging. A quality anti oxidant like NAC and or CoQ10 should help with this. Also 2 rude is right - ahealthy lifestyle and diet ill have a distinct impact on it as well.
