Do you pin fast or slow?

I used to have to give a friend shots and I just jammed it in there like a dart. Before my first pin (last Monday) I did some reading and decided to go slow. It didn't really hurt, but the sensation of going into the muscle wasn't fun. If I had went fast, this wouldn't be a problem. How do you put the needle in?

Penetrate the skin with the needle quite quickly. However deliver the oil to the muscle nice and slowly.

If i read your statement correctly, you used to slam the oil into your buddy's muscle?

....If that is the case I would have been fuckin' pissed!:redhot:

Needle speed only! The oil is always slow.

dart the pin in and aply moderate even pressure on the plunger. slowly will win when injecting. no need to force it in and tear it up inside.

I do everything slowly. I tend to bleed more when I jab the pin in too fast. I used to pin fast because I didn't enjoy the pain but once you get used to pinning ED or EoD the pain is virtually nothing.

If I do it myself I do it slowly, but sometimes I get my wife to do it and she jabs it in quickly, sometimes I think she keeps pushing after the needle is all the way in just becasue she can

Easiest thing to do is switch up the needle after loading the gear in the syringe, this will ensure the needle is sharp and therefore you can let it work its way in nice, smooth and pain free.

I always go in real slow, then push the plunger down real slow as well. I even pull the needle out slow. No real pain

i pin slow, although i have heard that pushing the needle in slow can create more scar tissue. when im pinning quads sometimes i will hit a nerve and it hurts, so i just pull back a lil, and hit it at a lil diff angle.

wht difference does it make if you push the oil in slow or as fast as you can? im not arguing, i really want to know your thoughts on this. i dont realy know if i do it slow or fast? i use a 25g so i guess im pushing the oil out as fast as a 25g will allow.

sometimes i switch the needle, sometimes i dont.

but i always go slow so if i dont switch the needle...there is a little more pain since the needle is a little dull. i dont mind the pain at all though
