Well I just left the gym about an hour ago in a bad mood. I benched the most weight I have ever even dreamed of(335). Why am I in a bad mood? Well, my cycle ends in a week and I fucking freaking that I'm gonna lose my gains. After my first cycle of just dbol I continued to bust my ass and lost a shit load of strength! Then I hopped on a test enan and dbol cycle and am fucking stronger than I ever thought I'd be. I know 335 might not be a lot to you huge bastards but for me its fucking great. I statred lifting weights at 16yrs old and about 100lbs and was fucking floored by how heavy the bar was! Now I'm pushing 3 caddys twice, It fucking fells amazing. I am on running nolva right now and plan on upping the dose 2wks after last inject and then inhaling protein, creatine and glutamine and every other mine that exists. What else can I do to keep these gains other than busting my ass cause thats not a problem. Thanks

Yep.......it always sucks when they end, but all good things must come to an end. All you can do is start planning the next one......LOL !!

One thing you can do is cut back on the intensity of your workouts a little bit.

Also, keep up on your caloric intake, don't slack off your diet just cause cycle ends.

HRT guys(SC/JB)......

WHAT does a "typical" year look like for you bro's cycle-wise taking into consideration you are on TEST year round?

Break it down for me.....

EXACTLY. I try telling people this all the time and no one listens. They think once you come off you need to lift as much weight as possible to keep your gains. retarded

Now I'm confused. So when I come off I should keep my reps around 4-8 and keep banging away until my strength makes me use less weight or what? Or do I just start doing a lot less weight right away. Less weight seems to be a bad idea.

If I use less weight I lose strength on or off, although to often this can be the mind screwing with you, if you lift with lower intensity that for me will be a problem. Lower volume, sure, I've gone near 20 sets for chest and eventually on or off that is overtraining for me and I start losing strength.

So while I might observe volume and listen to your body, I dont personally suggest making any drastic changes.

your going to start losing some strength anyways so you will have to drop some weight. It is to my knowledge you are supposed to stay away from the basic really heavy movements. say deads and squats, dont go balls out on them, your body is trying to recover, and just beating your body up will not help. i would start tapering back down to 10-12 reps, 3 or 4 sets. which means you can still lift pretty heavy, just dont try to be doing 3-4 reps of 6 sets.

and most likely when your "on" your lifting more than normal (6-7 days a week), which would mean if you still lifted like that when your "off" you will be overtraining. just play it smart and lift like you did before you ever started steroids, and keep the calories up.

I find that doing low reps post cycle kills my ego. I rather drop from doing 255x12 to 255x10 rather than 330x4 to 330x2. Losing a few reps on a moderate weight doesn't make me as mad as losing a few going heavy. In my opinion the dropping from 12 to 10 reps is far less drastic than dropping from 4 to 2 reps.

Keep reps the same and try to keep weight as high as possible. I find I do best if I use volume training while *on* and during post cycle therapy (pct), switch to a HIT type program like Doggcrapps. My body is odd that way..on cycle, HIT doesn't do crap for me. Post cycle it works well to preserve gains.

i personally love test . so a lot of times all i do is up my test dose up to 600 or so for 3 months and then drop back to hrt dose the next week. occasionally i will throw in winnie or dbol for 4-6 weeks [ usually dbol i love that shit :D ] after i go back to hrt dose i will wait 8-12 weeks before i up my doses again , depending on how much i ran last time and for how long . some times i will go a little higher on test up to a gram or so but i will take at least 3 months off after that much.

I disagree, why stay away from compound movements that recruit more muscle? You want to bust your ass after a cycle or else you are going to feel like shit. I say go heavy, but just keep good solid form and you will be fine.

i dont mean not doing them. just using less weight, higher reps. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, thats just what i believe.

i personally believe just the opposite i go heavy in the lower rep ranges but do less sets . i feel this helps me to keep as much strength as possible .

The only real change to my training when I come off is to lower the set total. Sometimes I change the rep scheme, from 5-6 reps, to 3, to keep the weights pretty high. You do have to expect a step back wards when you come off, but generally 2 weeks into the next cycle I'm right back where I left off

as you can in my reply above i agree , repping away with low weights doesnt work for me , stay heavy just dont overtrain :)

I just work the body parts less times a week. During cycle its twice a week per part, post it is once. I changed from doing isolation exercises on to powerlifting techniques off and have lost extremely little strength/weight.

Fuck everybody has diff opinion. I think the general thought is to lower the weight a little and add 2-4 more reps. Compound movements stay but with less sets.
