Endurance atheletes and gear

Hello all

I am new to the site and am searching for info on endurance athletes using test or other gear in training. Anyone here compete in long distance triathlons ?

Thanks in advance.

Many use T3 to reduce body weight - both fat and muscle. Most guys here will cringe at the thought of losing hard earned muscle mass -- but endurance athletes often have a different mindset.

Running testosterone would improve recovery time after training and increase RBC's. But you would have to be careful with the dose as adding too much muscle mass would slow you down. Testosterone would also allow the endurance athletes to hold more glycogen as well. Just be careful HCT doesn't get too elevated.

So perhaps a low dose of Test (e.g. 300mg/wk) and T3. The test will mitigate the catabolic effects of the T3 as well so that it mainly burns off fat.

Take away:
Increased Glycogen
Less Body fat
More RBC's
Improved Recovery Time
Possible catabolism

Key will be managing estradiol as it would result in water retention and possible edema if left too high. Not something an endurance athletes needs. And lowering estradiol too much would cause joint pain and fatigue. So one needs to be really dialed in with the estradiol.

Thanks for the reply.

What would the effects be like after using test and t3 for a cycle and going off. Would the endurance gains be kept ? How long are the products detectable ?

Glycogen and RBC's would return to normal. So would recovery time. The lower body fat / weight would be maintained if you managed your diet.

You would have to PCT when you came off to get your natural test to turn back on.

Detection time depends on the esters. If you are being tested use short esters and make sure you won't be checked while you are on.
