Felt a pop in my lower back

start back light with perfect form. try to be sparing with the belt they cause me more probs on deads than they do good. squats is fine.
 
PB, i was pullin just 495 with no belt when I felt the pop. I agree with you about the belt, but this pop was outa nowhere. I could understand if I was going for some crazy PR that Ive never touched but this was during warmups. I did back for the first time since, and was able to row moderate weight with a belt, perfect form. The pain is still here though, about the same as day 3. Live and learn.
 
I just had 2 back surgeries 5 or 6 months ago. The first was for a herniated disc. That is the exact same thing i felt when i herniated my disc. It wasnt extreme pain but it was there. Get it checked out before it gets any worse. I waited and end up having to have both surgeries, the second was for a lumbar fusion cause i waited.
