First cycle - ready or not?

Hi!

Im planning on stepping onto my first cycle in a few weeks. It will be Test E, 250mg/e5d for 14w (just under 400mg/w) and I want your thoughts, am I ready or not?

Stats:

Sex: Male
Age: 21 (22 in 2 months)
Height: 6"
Weight: Just under 200lbs
Bodyfat: Around 16-18%
Dumbellpress: 75 x 10
Squat: 220 x 10
Deadlift: 240 x 10

Worth saying is that those thats in when I perform them as the ~third exercise, except dumbellpress. Got trouble with my elbows and I can work around it by using dumbells.

Measurements:
Arms: 15"+
Quads: 25", got little fat on the hams
Waist: 36"
Chest: 43"

Trainingexperience:
Been active pretty much all my life, been doing hockey, floorball, soccer and Tai-kwon Do up until I was about 16yo when I quit. I picked up weightlifting, lifted from time to time some periods.

Weightlifting:
I've been lifting for about 2½ years now, the last year have been serious.
I didnt pay enough attention to the food so I gained 30lbs in less than a year, much of it was fat even thou I pretty much "gained" 200-300% in each exercise.
I stood at 225lbs and thought I looked fat and really looked into dieting. I droped 35lbs in 3 months while hitting the same weights.

Now I've been gaining about 2 pound a month and its pretty much where I am atm. I know my bodyfat could be abit high for cycling since estrogen-effects is worse at higher bodyfat, thats why Im going at a pretty low dosage together with Im a pretty "careful" person, I dont act before I think.

I know consistancy in the key and I feel pretty much ready since I've tasted both misstakes and "success" with the dieting.

Now I want your opinion. What do you think?

Of primary concern is the fusing of your growth plates. If you are satisfied with your current bone structure implement the following:

1-12 TestE 500mg
1-12 Aromasin 12.5mg ED
14-18 Clomid 100/50/50/25

Analysis of your body fat percentages reveals a strong propensity for androgen conversion. Aromasin (Exemestane) should provide adequate countermeasures.

Also of intrinsic value is your rate of gains. 2lbs a month equals a total of 24 pounds a year. Current gains seem to indicate the implementation of testosterone at this point in time is counterproductive.

It's not just your age per say. We as people are still growing at that age. Your growth plates may or may not have closed at that age. I'd say age 23 to be safe but as Mr H stated, if you are happy with your current bone structure, then he laid out a pretty common first cycle for one to use when diving into the AAS arena. Multiple compounds is not recommended on a first cycle because you don't know how your body is going to adjust to each compound and hence if you get some kind of problems such as gyno, you may not know how to combat it. At this point it's your call what to do but if you do it, do it right.
 
yes it IS your call but i think everyone will advise against doing AAS at 21(or 22). you hear these stories about how "my buddy's brother did them at 21 and he's fine" but everyone is different and can have different outcomes.

id say train naturally for a few more years (till 24-25yo) then think about it, you still have progress to be made that can be achieved naturally especially at your age with all that natty test rollin around. thats MHO>good luck

I think the growthplates is pretty much closed, I think I gained ½ an inch the last five years and Ive never, ever, seen my height as a problem.

One part of me is saying Im a loser if I step on gear because "I want to prove I can do it" without it, on the other hand I want to be alot bigger than I could (maybe) achieve naturally.

Im a very competative person, couldnt be anything else with the history in sports I got.

I'll give it a few more weeks, after that I decide what I will do.

If anyone else have an opinion I would like to hear it.

it's tough to say bud.. i would say post your diet in the diet section, and be honest and tell us how long your diet has been that strict.. if you have been dieting that strictly for a while, and happen to be an ectomorph, than perhaps you might be able to do juice.. but usually it isrecomended to wait until you are 25.. i did my first cycle when i was 19, and got huge, and got a job that required all my time and lost all my gains in the years of working.. needless to say, my gains were lost, and at the age of 26, i was in worse shape than i was when i was 19, and had the natural test prduction that was 1/3rd of a 95 y.o. man.. even though i did proper PCT and all that shit.. i still think that perhaps it was do to the ProHormones i did, and i am happy at being 5'10"... but all my brothers are 6'1" or taller and i must belive that even though i was 5'10" at 19.. ther is a good chance that i could have been over 6'1" if i had just waited a couple years.. but i will never know.. but i can say from the bottom of my heart.. i wish i had just waited..

When I dieted my diet was strict. We are talking -800 to 1000kcal a day, no cheating what so ever. High protein, ~80 grams of carbs a day and moderate fat.

Question: Why does my bodytype come to play when juicing? If an ecto - why am I allowed to juice?

An analysis of calorie consumption has revealed the most conductive way to increase size, strength and weight.

I tend to complicate things so let me try to make this simple by mapping it out.

300g protein a day (no more then 50 from shakes)
500g low GI carbs per day
30g EFA per day
Consumption of an additional 1200 calories from the proverbial "junk food".

Adherence to this regime will yield desired results without the implementation of gear.

Hmm, never said gaining or losing weights was a problem. Just because Im young it doesnt mean I dunno how to plan and follow a diet.

Any idea on the bodytype question?
