Alright...so I just pinned myself about 10 minutes ago. I wasn't nervous or anything.
I probably used about 5 alcohol swabs in this one injection. Washed my hands. All that good stuff.
Well everything was fine...no nerves...piece of cake right? As soon as it broke the skin and went in...I started pushing the juice in....then out of nowhere I start shaking really bad...not just my hands but my whole body...I felt light headed...started seeing white...I had to pull the needle out and go lay on the bed for a minute because I was close to passing out and extremely close to puking.
After that passed I had only injected .5mL...so I said fuck it...I'm finishing this. Went in there and pinned close to the same spot. And got all 1cc in there.
My ass has a slight burn to it right now. Maybe due to me shaking a little bit? It's kinda hard to hold steady when your hand is shaking and you're stretched around like Gumbo.
I stood looking in the mirror for like 2-3 minutes waiting to 'feel' anything bad. So far nothing other than a little rug burn on the butt. It was a 1" needle and I stuck it in as far as it would go.
Juice does take a little time to get out with the 25g so I can see why you'd draw bigger.
Thursday = next injection and I don't think I'll feel like that again now that it's out of my system

Yeah I tried to pull the plunger back but the sucker would barely budge. Is it supposed to be that hard to aspirate?
When I pulled out the first time to go pass out there was no blood.
The second time there was a little bit of blood leaking out but I think it was from breaking the skin.

Yeah I feel fine now. I held the needle with my left hand and pulled back. Nothing really came into the syringe though. So I assumed it was fine and started injected.
Never felt that light headed before though. Maybe it was just the reality of "Hey, dumbass...you're doing steroids" and my body went crazy.
The 2nd pin was fine...no light headed or anything...just more blood.
My hand was kind of shaky...and the shakiness kind of bobbed the needle in and out a few times.

It helps me to make sure I'm calm and to focus on my breathing...usually reduces the amount of shaking.

this has nothing to do with anything, but has anyone here actually ever tried to break the tip off of one of their needles? i tried once, bent it all around, back and forth, played with it for a while before i could get it to even think about coming off. that is one seriously defective needle if it ever breaks while you're pinning.
be careful when you leave a bit out, if you aspirate there then push any further in then you already were, aspirating just became pointless. just something to keep in mind.

Never tried to break a needle but I've seen them break off before in use. Serious defects happen.
oh for sure, i wasn't saying don't do it. i was just saying be aware of what you do with the needle after you have stopped and aspirated.
i've never heard of anyone who personally experienced this. i've heard horror stories of people hearing about it, but never first-hand. doesn't mean that you want to risk being that one guy it really does happen to. that would really suck. even with it sticking out some, that would still suck.
did it happen directly to you dahurt? i want to hear that story.

Without telling you too much about what I do...yes multiple times.
I was cannulating an hepatic portal vein to isolate liver cells via enzymatic digestion, the needle broke, and cost my research $$ because I lost a bunch of expensive enzyme. I've also had needles break when extracting serum from animals in the field to analyze geographical patterning in IGF-1 gene expression.
