HCG dose when injecting T every 4 days

I'm trying to figure out the best way to dose my HCG while doing 60mg Test Cyp injections every 4 days...

Since I'm on an every 4 day schedule, I figure I could do 250iu the day before each injection... But then that's only 500iu every 8 days...

Another option is doing HCG 2 days before injection and 1 day before injection... So basically 2 days on 2 days off... But that seems like it could be excessive and raise my E2 too much... Im trying to keep my levels as stable as possible to prevent acne which I have an issue with on the back and shoulders.

Option #3 could be 250iu 2 days before injection. Then 150iu the day before injection. This could help keep my balls full but not jack up my e2 levels so much maybe?

(I'm just coming off T gel and switching to injections so I'm trying to figure out the timing with the injections. Before I did HCG 3x per week.)

Any suggestions? What do you guys do who inject T every 4 days?

I'm on a E3D schedule and take my test, HCG and adex at the same time. I get nasty gyno sides from HCG easily so I'm only on 90iu E3D, seems to work fine for me.

Alright interesting, thanks for posting your protocol. I just assumed that taking HCG on the same day as T would give you an extra upswing in your T levels and then fall quicker since HCG has a shorter half life, making your T numbers a little less smooth?

I actually found I had more swings taking it the day before my test as it would spike my E2, however taking it all together the adex keeps the E2 spikes around the same time and hence more controllable with the adex.

83mg (approx) it's a 1/3 of a pre-filled 250mg/ml ampule.

Okay I'm going to try that protocol then. I'm going to inject E4D (easier for me to manage rather than worrying about am/pm for E3.5D)

So every 4 days I'll do:

- 60mg Test Cyp
- 250iu HCG
- 0.25mg Arimidex

I'll get bloodwork done in 3 weeks and see where that puts me.

With E3D injections do you alternate injection spots beyond glutes? Shoulders? Legs? I've just been switching right and left glutes... Worried that may start to hurt or do too much damage if I'm poking holes every 4 days in the same 2 spots...

Well, we'll see what my bloodwork says, I haven't felt amazing on this dose but I haven't felt awful either... I do know that when I front loaded 200mg per week when I first started injecting (a few weeks ago) I felt phenomenal, but I guess that's to be expected on a higher dose either way..

If you are low b.f. careful with the adex. Go half that dose E3D. 0.125 mg.
I had rhe same protocol and probably not lean as you and lowered estradiol too much with that adex dose you want to use. I was using more HCG than you too.

I'd probably wait to see if you even need the Adex before taking it. Low E2 is a miserable experience, and some guys end up with low E2 on TRT.

Elevated E2 is certainly more common, but it's definitely possible that yours could be low (too low) on that protocol.

Thanks for the heads up about the e2 levels. I do know that I have naturally high estrogen and it's always been an issue for me (been on different forms of TRT for the past 4+ years) I'll see what my bloodwork says and adjust based on that.

I've read both taking HCG the day of injection, and the day before. The Doc at the Hormone therapy clinic I'm beginning to work with says to take HCG the day before. Basically you stimulate the testes the day before, then inject test.

My TRT dosing regimen is exactly the same - 60 mg every 4 days. That dose seems to keep my troth T between 900 and 1000 ng/dL (range 300-1100). Free T is in mid 200s, well above range (30-135). I never feel any ups and downs. Always just the same.

I started adex 2 weeks ago at 0.25 mg every 2 days to improve libido and erections. So far it is getting better and better.

Great to hear it's going well thanks for sharing the numbers too. Are you also taking HCG? I'm guessing your E2 bloodwork came back high as well if you're taking that much Arimidex.

I have never tried HCG. I only have one E2 measurement. It was a little high at 32, but I was taking less Test. The E2 value was from a standard E2 test. not the sensitive test, so I am not sure what to make of it.

Doctor does not think E2 is important and does not want to test for it. Currently, I am doing a trial and error approach - a fairly high dose of adex until I note some negative effects, probably libido or erections - then I'll reduce the adex frequency. I'll also get a private lab measurement of E2.
