First of I like to say thank you to all you in advance for any all inputs and advices. I've been reading countless post and replies to all types of cycles from AS, AAS, HGH, and now overwhelmed and needs your help if you could. History, I have done a few cycles of Test E, test prop, in the past more like 5-6 years ago nothing serious. Now that I've turn 42, recently felt very sluggish, sex drive down to crap, and gaining more body fat then ever. So I did a Testosterone level test and my total was 345. So I've reading all over the net and forum and seem to be pretty low for my age. I like to get myself into shape, losing body fat is the major concern not necessary gaining lots of weight, just a nice lean look for an older guy, looking to be a lean 185-190 pounder. I have been doing cardio 3-4x a week, light weight lifting, mostly cables. Not looking to compete against any of you men lol. But at my age what is safest? low Test cycle or TRT or HGH or anything else for that matter. I've been hearing alot about HGH and considering that route. Here's a pic of me and I look forward to reading your advices. Thanks

Yeah 345ng/dl is pretty low. If I were you I'd look into a restart, and then if that fails TRT. Although 345ng/dl is low, I'm not sure it qualifies you for prescribed TRT. Another reason to go for a restart, something like clomid 25mg ed for a couple months.. Look into it anyhow. It's working very well for me.

As for your questions regarding losing body fat well... HGH is horribly expensive. Test doesn't do anything for fat loss. I really don't think you need anything other than diet and maybe better natty test levels. Figure out how many cals your burning a day and just eat 500cals less than that. Or consider hiring a nutritionist like 3J.

If I was your age, I would definitely go on TRT. I would be feeling like poop on such low testosterone levels. TRT is a quick lifetime fix. You get your energy back, you feel better and happier (mood is enhanced), and your sex drive will definitely come back. You don't need any gh. Just try to get a prescription from a doctor and start TRT asap.
I mean... you have done cycles before, so I am sure it isn't really a problem for you...

Thanks for reply Prince..
What's a restart? I have done a cycle at least 6 yrs ago and that was 300mg Test C.

At my age, you think hgh is better in terms of being safer and the benefits? Thanks

In terms of being safer, both are very safe assuming that you are a healthy individual.
You would benefit a lot more from exogenous testosterone.

I left out not only my test level was low but total cholesterol level was 240 which is high. Would then hgh be safer or you still think I'll be better of a Test cycle?

TRT doses won't hurt when it comes to cholesterol. Going on TRT (low dose testosterone for life) was one of the best decisions I ever made. It's a big commitment, obviously, but it's what I would do if I was in your situation. Trying to restart your natural testosterone production with drugs like clomid and aromasin might be worth it before committing to TRT.

If you go down that route, fix your diet, and get in better shape, your cholesterol numbers will improve. Test cycles with higher doses compared to TRT would be safer then.

Yeah absolutely try a restart protocol before committing to TRT. There are a few downsides that come along with TRT, and it is a lifetime decision. You will be dependant on it, so if theres a chance to avoid it you should take it.

First of all, do you also have you LH and FSH values aswell? They will determine what kind of restart you should attempt. Just to give you an idea, i recently raised my natty test from 525ng/dl up to 860ng/dl... Will just have to wait and see if it holds, but I can tell you know I feel 1000x better.

You should be able to increase your natty test quite a bit by losing the excess bodyfat (less aromatisation) and fixing your diet (get plenty of EFA's.) supplementing with Zinc will also help, and ensuring your getting enough sleep. A few little changes like that can make a big difference.

judging by your pics i recommend you consider getting your diet and training in check.. trt is great but no where close to its potential without the proper training and more importantly the proper nutrition...

Brother, first things first, I would look after getting that cholesterol down or in check. get your ducks in line before you start anything. that's my advice. I'm 45 now and have been on and off cycles for years. you will feel great from TRT, I would highly recommend it. I run a fair amount of test and some compounds, but never required TRT, I'd fck a hole in a tree most of the time. :)

You guys are awesome. Had to go back and read the profiles on clomid and totally understand what you were saying about the re-start. Thanks all this info and advices. .

Sounds good to me bro. Let's see where I'm at after the clomids and go on from there. TRT or maybe like you said off and on cycles. Thanks

Just make sure your getting bloodwork. Clomids a pretty mild compound but keep in mind whenever you raise LH (thats what clomid does) you not only raise test but also e2 aswell. Bloodwork will help ensure your e2 doesn't get too high, which is plain unhealthy and carries a bunch of sides similar to low test. You will probably need to use an AI (aromatase inhibitor) to keep the e2 under control. Bloodwork is so important coz you dont want e2 too low either - also unhealthy and makes you feel like shit.
