HELP Cops = Trouble!!

your talking about a cwoaf (contiueing without a finding) which means they dont find you guilty or innocent and you have to abide by there rules(probation) for a lenth of time and pay fees and fines then the charge will be omit as i understand.

but if you take a conviction on a scheduled drug I dont believe it will be a misdemeanor

i seriously don't ever plan on using or possessing steroids again, but if misdemeanor is droped of my record after a year won't employers not be able to see that it ever happened, and wont any further issues with steroid possession be considered a first offence? or any other drug for that matter? (because 2nd offence is like felony up to 4 years in jail + huge fine)

I see that this thread is UN-locked from being locked? Anyway, there was a shitload of comments so lemme just throw my $0.2 in. The thing with breaking the lock is bullshit, the cops didnt do it, your mom did, its your moms house shes allowed to do whatever she wants. You called a lawyer today and got the EXACT price I quoted you eh? Pretty good huh? lol.. DONT wait for the lawyer, do what you gotta do to borrow the money from friends and family. To the person who said hes not gonna go to jail? Fuck outta here as soon the testosterone is tested positive the FIRST thing there doing is picking him right up from college and charging him. 90% becuase hes young and most young guys are a risk they WONT just let you go but set you with bail and youll have to be bailed out. Once your bailed out if when you and your lawyer start working, your court date will be an upcoming date, your lawyer will postpone it for a couple months so you guys can have some time to think, also so your lawyer can see which way the D/A is leaning. When arrested and gaurenteed all these promises for a lesser charge for talking without a lawyer DONT LISTEN, you will fuck yourself. My younger uncle was promised a court appearence meaning he didnt have to go to jail if he talked without a lawyer and then they nailed him and he did 2 years. They tried to do the same thing with me... Sorry dude, but even if your convicted of only a misdemeaner it's gonna stay on your record.. forever. even if your NOT convicted its STILL on your record. I was charged with a felony that I was proven innocent and it's STILL on my record.... Did the lawyer tell you what his thoughts were on what he thinks you would get charged with?

BTW, try and find a lawyer that works in the same town that your being charged in, 99% of the time the lawyer knows the judge, the D/A, the detectives and half the cops... A good relationship between your lawyer and all of these people is a VERY good thing, trust me.

Folks please listen...99% of the time you hang yourself with cops...NEVER admit to anything. If you get arrested, hire a good lawyer and let them talk for you. Remember, do not tell the cops anything!!!
 
...it cast s a bad shadow that the police were dispatched to your addy...I have a Domestic violence shadow cast ( no charge..no conviction )on me for an ex parte retraining order placed on me while i was 2 time zones and 1600 mile s away from that dumb -unt..but who has the time and money to play this bullshit lawyer- judge- family court horseshit..it s a fukkin scam..lawyer s are the most overrated fukker s in our society..hard workin white gentile man like me ain t got a chance..guilty till proven innocent ..you need to realize this and maybe find you a hobby that does not controlled substances for the next 5 years...cuz you have become a person of interest..

Cops are slaves, someone calls the police station a "slave" has to report to the scene. The "slaves" make the arrests, transport you to the jail and thats it... It's then 90% up to the D/A and 10% up to the judge what happens to you. 90% of the time the judge will go with the D/A's reccomendation.

She could have just trashed it and kicked you out of the house. You would still be pisses but atleast you wouldnt have to go through all the legal stuff. I agree lawyers are the worst kind of person out there but people use them to fight there battles so there here to stay
