Hi. First cycle. thoughts, opinions and advice

Hi all

Just started my first cycle of Testoviron Test E @ 500mg per week. Im 5 weeks in.

Stats are:

Before I began training

6'2"
11.5 stone
Skinny as hell

Before starting cycle
14.9 stone
100kg bench for reps
200kg deadlift-1rm
90kg- clean and press

Diet is good ( i think) Im lactose intolerant and last time i took a whey shake i went my throat closed up and i almost died so im guessing very allergic to an ingredient.

Diet looks roughly like this

Breakfast: Big bowl of porridge with banana and honey
Protein shake- large scoop of soy isolate, big scoop of pure peanut butter, 1 raw egg, fine oats, soy milk or water

Lunch: rice or pasta with chicken/tuna/beef mince/ fish

few hours later another shake

Dinner: similar to lunch but larger portion again

Protein shake

If i snack its usually pre cooked chicken/peanut butter/ cottage cheese etc

Training: Just started a 5x5 programme of my own design. train 4 times a week- hard every time

I have just got the mid cycle panics that the test isnt doing anything- im sure many first timers get this and im aware it takes a while to kick. Notices increased sex drive. strength has risen, recovery time is super fast, and im currently sitting at 15.5 stone. so im most likely worrying for nothing.

Im injecting once a week @ 500mg. would i be better off splitting it into 2 injections?

Anyway sorry for the long post. any advice/opinions and thoughts are welcome.
 
Hi Tommy and welcome to Ology!

I can tell you right now the guys are going to jump all over your diet, it doesn't look like you're consuming nearly enough calories of the right things at the right times to meet your maximum potential. Swing by the diet section and 3J (our site nutritionist) will critique your diet for free!!

6'2 161? If i did it right there is no way you should be on steriods. You should be concentrating on your diet not taking steroids. If you can't grow off cycle you won't keep gains on cycle. Steriods get your body anabolic but food is what makes you grow and I can.tell from the diet you posted its horrible
 
if your lactose intolerant then you wont be eating cheese, ice cream, drinking milk and so on...if your throat closed up then that was an allergic reaction to something. Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest the sugars in milk and causes gas, bloating, and diarrhea. Not closing of the throat.

also your not eating near enough. If you dont eat then you may as well inject water because the gear wont do anything for you.
 
161??? if you referring to my weight in pounds then im 215.6Lb. Im getting 200g of protein a day, which if calculated by 2g of protein per kg of body-weight is about right. Calories are probably low i admit. Im all up for constructive criticism, thats why i joined. I want to improve in all areas to reach the maximum potential.

On the subject of lactose intolerance, if i drink milk or eat dairy i get lactose intolerance symptoms, as you have outlined. If i drink whey protein shakes i almost die. Maybe they are related but i believe its two separate things all together.

you calculated my weight in lbs from my initial pre training naturual weight. before coming onto cycle i put on over 3 stone ( roughly 45 Lbs) of muscle. I chose to go on cycle as my gains were now coming very slow, even though i feel my diet is good. 45 Lbs of muscle naturally is surely about right before starting a cycle

yeah i need to get some tests done really. I just cant risk trying other wheys as last time it happened i was alone and couldnt ring for help, it was just lucky it passed eventually.
 
I know everyones concerned about your diet, but from what I have heard its best to split test E, 2 pins a week 250 mg for each Pin. Just curious guys, if he started with 500 mg a week once a week, then went to 250 mg twice a week, would there be any bad with that, or just all positive???

you have only tried one type of protien? That might be your issue because they all make it with different ingredients

To be honest i have always struggled with whey. Some are worse than others, but after this last attack i cant risk it anymore.

Soy works for me really well, ive seen good gains and no ill side affects. The latest clinical trials prove it to be very effective and show the bad press it gets is pretty much ball.

Ill pop over to the diet section. I personally think it must be ok as i have put on over 3 stone without any gear while eating like this but you lot are the experts so ill seek some advice.

Yeah i think i should maybe switch to twice a week, i dont want to mess it up though. I was advised that once a week would be fine by my gym owner who also happens to be an experienced bodybuilder but that doesn't mean he is right

And for the Protein situation, Once you find a whey protein you can handle, I would only take it as a post workout, and then if you would like, rock a Casein Protein before bed, since its a slow release protein. In my OP, all your other Calorie intake should be solid food.

Maybe ill hunt for a whey i can handle. My problem is im a student and hence money is always tight. Three shakes a day isnt ideal but its better than nothing. I cleatrly need to up my food intake. gonna get some egg whites in and a few other goodies. Think i need to stop wasting money on other shit and spend it on food. the gym is a real love of mine so it deserves spending more money to make it work

I hear ya bro, its tough, but if its what you love and want to do, ya gotta get er' done..haha.

My Post workout protein right now is Optimum Nutritions Hydrobuilder, taste great and really does work. Best I've ever used : )
 
if u are only eating 2grams of protein per each kg of your bodyweight u are ONLY eating to maintain your current weight!

if u wanna gain u MUST eat as much protein as per your goal weight, so if u want some gains u better start putting in 250-300grams of protein everyday
