I use delts all the time. I personally think they are by far the easiest spot but that's personal opinion. As far as being more effective, there is no truth to that.
Ive pinned quads, glutes, bis, tris, traps, delts, and chest. I try to pin what I'm gonna be training that day. quads and delts are my favorites but as long as your in muscle they are all equally effective. Chest and bis are my least favorite
quads are by far the easiest. i mean its right there... you have two hands free to use. glute you got to twist and its a lil akward, shoulder your down one arm.
For delts try sitting in a chair and resting hand/forearm on table, extended straight out in front of you. Then just a little reach. But I guess quads would technically be easier.
I can't even reach the spot on my delt where I would pin. I don't know how u guys do it. I have very wide shoulders and back so that's probably why I can't reach. Def gonna try thighs next cycle.
Quads are easiest, then pecs and finally delts for me. Those are the only spots I pin though and I'm not saying delts are hard by any means. I chose these three spots to rotate because of the ease.
I like delt shots. I rest my arm on the dresser at chest height to the side. I relax the muscle and insert. I've tried leaving my arm at my side and it hurt pretty bad for the first few minutes. Glutes are my second then thighs
