How long before Infection turns into abscess

Hey all,

Just wondering how long it takes for somebody to know
a jab site has turned into an infection. Signs are usually
redness, pain and heat-but how long after the jab does all this occur?

A day or two?

Are they usually very painful?

hmm... I injected 1 1/2 cc of cyp and 1 cc of deca in my thigh
in one shot 4 days ago....perhaps a lil to fast

it has been very painful to walk, as were my other two shots
in the glute..the pain is going away but my skin around the
area is reddish ..its warm to the the touch but not hot
and I dont have a fever...

I was very sterile-but this injection site is reacting differently

I heard injecting in your thing would make it big??

hahha jk..

yeah Mex Vet gear...i dont see a raised lump...looking at my
thighs together you really cant tell a difference..I doubt
its dirty cuz my other shots didnt get infected and its been 2 weeks.

I just wanted to get the opinions of some vets.

Guys do I have an absess. I injected 1 1/2 cc of EQ into my right delt on Monday. One Tuesday i noticed it turned intoa lump. I then iced it down. on Wednesday the lump went slightly down, but it is still slightly red. Does not hurt but feels Very dry and some what numb. On thrusday I noticedf the same thing. And today is Friday, the area where I injected is dry and around it is slighlty red. Again there is not pain at all. The area is still kind of numb. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about any injection until 7-10 days after you shoot it. I ALWAYS get a red, hot, swollen lump after agents like Sustanon (sust), etc. If it feels even 10% better you're probably fine.

Dr . X I hope your right bro! I noticed its day 4 now, that its still red, but swelling went slighly down, it feel numb around the site though. AGHHHHH this is driving me nuts I should have just done anavar.

i agree with dr. x. took almost a week for mine to set in. treating with antibiotics now and its getting better.

vet gear will leave you with a lump most of the time.

my next cycle will be totally human grade. [except for tren] the extra money you spend will be well worth it

An absess or an infection will hurt like a mother fucker.

When I got my infection in the thigh, I literally could not walk. Bending my knee was next to impossible. Resting weights on my leg was impossible as well because the pain was just too much.

Ask House, you can tell when you have an infection. Your body temp. is raised. You will notice red blotchs on the skin near the injection area but most of all you will notice pain. And lots of it.

no shit about hurting. the pain is terrible.

its not fun at all.

make sure your gear is clean, and your injection site is clean, use a pin once and throw it away.

staying sterile as possible is the name of the game

I don't understand why guys think that anytime you have redness pain and swelling that it is an infection. first of all the infection will most likely show an infection line up your blood vessels. all infections I have ever had in my legs (none from gear) had an infection line and basically just itched but never really hurt. that is how I could tell that it had turned from just irratated to infected. the BA content is a major factor that doesn't mean you have an infection, just a painful injection. I know you have to be safe in this game but to many guys scream infection to quick. just my juice cents.

Tell him you got stuck by a piece of rusted barbwire climbing a fence.
I had acouple that took aweek both were glute shots i think mine were from not going deep enough sweeled up the size of a golf
ball stuck it out and it went away after a week...

Word!! I keep saying this over and over (to you too, Ripped), but I wonder who's listening?
999 times out of 1000 (9,999 out of 10,000!), that painful shot is a LOCAL INFLAMMATORY RESPONSE! High BA, or whatever, but it's NOT infection.
And as far as an abcess, read Biggie's post; it's gonna hurt like you've never had before.
You guys panicking, taking antibiotics after 36 hours and what not; you're kidding yourselves. And if you can't hear this, don't PM me about the problem. The stress you're causing yourself by obsessing about it is more deleterious to your health than any "infection" you think you've got.
Just my $0.02

That is a good description of how my shoulder felt after I hit it with 3cc QV Enanthate. I was running a 102F fever and the pain was so intense that even when I wasn't putting any weight on it, it still kept me awake at night. It took almost a week to go away completely. My point is that even if you have the symptoms you described, it still may not be an infection.

A week now and everything is fine...Thanks guys
for helping my piece mind..
All symptoms are gone and my thigh is perfectly normal.

3CC in your shoulder!--JESUS
