I am putting together my own drink for the gym...and bed time.

I am putting together my own pump supplement by putting together ingredients from bulk supplement powders.
Agmatine Sulfate
Citruline Malate
and some electrolytes like
calcium, magnesium, potassium, manganese, vit b6.

Without making it too complicated, what else could I add to make it a good work out drink that has some decent benefits.

I do that when bulking: Gatorade, BCAA, and creatine (if my PWO doesn't have it) as an intra-workout. I haven't really found it any cheaper to make a preworkout than just buying one. I suppose if you wanted to add beta alanine and arginine, that would round out a stim free drink.

You would be better served (imo) with either casein or a simple protein/fat meal at bed time. I like Greek yogurt/cottage cheese with ground beef as examples.

My .02c :)

Another reason i am making my own is to have no flavoring agents or chemicals like artificial sweeteners or stevia crap in my drink.
Almost everything out now has food coloring, chemical flavoring agents, and God knows what else.
I drink sugar if I want to sweeten something.
I make a simple sugar solution and put it in my drinks.
Yeah for those who dont drink sugar, i dont care, it is for me and the people I workout with.
Sugar is good for a during workout drink.
I do not add any protein powders because that will change it from a light hydrating drink into a thickened nasty thing and anyway, I dont drink whey protein. A lot of people swear by it but for me it is trash. Cheap waste products pushed on us like it is the holy grail. All it does is give people horrible sulphur gas and swollen bellies.
The electrolytes, i have experimented with in my time in the Spartan Beasts and Supers that I have run. Anti-cramping help is very important for half marathon OC runs like that. My mix of electrolytes stop cramps if they occur and if taken before the real sweating starts i do not cramp at all.
After all of my runs i have it down pretty well.

I do eat before bed but the No2 benefit at "bed" time is what I was really talking about.

Cialis from rui. Solved.

If you're just looking for a vasodioator, that will be more than adequate. 5-10mg ED will give you a rock hard Johnson and the pumps in the gym are unreal.

There's nothing wrong with electrolytes, but I find magnesium citrate is rarely used in pre-made formulas. I'd make sure that's what you're getting. So this is for long distance running calorie replacement and electrolyte replenishment?

By the way, Betaine is one of the supplements in my Raw Beef protein powder from GNC.
Another reason why Raw is a better choice than whey powder.
...
THis particular formula will be for during training and before bed for over all health and help with my old man BP issues and No2 boosts without having to use GMO products and artificial flavorings and dyes.

I cant bring myself to spend 15 dollars a pound on protein powders but to each its own.

I get all the betaine and homocysteine I require from whole foods, although those that lack in the diet department certainly would benefit. You said that the NO purposes were for "bed" time, now you have no issues with erection quality. Which is it?

I'm going to be brutally honest with you. It took me a LONG time of letting pride interfere with my trying of cialis, even though many very intelligent and experienced guys here kept insisting I take it. I promise you, that if you're over 30, you WILL be wondering why you didn't try it sooner.

Cialis is seriously a wonder drug; it decreases bph, lowers blood pressure, creates a positive environment for vascular health as well as the added bonus of PDE5 inhibition for a superior sexual performance.

This doesn't imply that you're in *need* of a sexual performance aid, but that it is a welcomed addition to the other benefits. Every time I'm in a public restroom and hear some poor guy struggle to get out a few drops of urine, I resist the urge to tell them about cialis - it's THAT good. :)

At pct I am wondering if the nolva or clomid will affect things in the plumbing. I never used Serms before. Just HCG and that was it.
So now I am going to basically hedge my bets with good NO stuff and over all health products. By the way, Homocystiene is not something I want in diet or not. High levels of that is found in people with heart trouble and strokes. So Betaine in studies suppressed it.
And again, i have never had problems in the getting up unless it was whiskey D. But because of our private fun, a little extra is good for the old man to keep the wife our GF's happy.

I started juicing watermelon rinds and adding bcaa's and eectrolytes until my bulk powders arrive from amazon and it has a very interesting affect.
I find it is almost like a boost. Almost like a drinking coffee without the heart rate increase. Pretty good stuff for preworkout if you don't want to take stims.

here is my issue with all the supps out there and the studies that prove they work so well.....

Studies can be funny to begin with . For all sorts of reasons the results can be alot less stellar than whats depicted.

Foods should contain most of what we need. Although we live in a day and age where our food system is rife with toxicity and nutritionless food due to depleted soil.

Taking more of a mineral/amino or other supps doesnt really mean it will do anything. Alot of the vitamins are not broken down and metabolized. They get pissed right out. Also our bodies will just use the very needed amount of a vitamin. Anything "extra" doesn't always enhance the situation.

That being said I am hopelessly using Fish oil, ubiquinol,Vit D, Pregnenlone, NAC, Multi vit, Vitamin C, probiotics, brewers yeast, melatonin,l tryptophan and cant leave out CREATINE!

Out of all those I am confident theat the vitamin d and fishoil are g2g from seeing better blood work. As for the rest IDK if they do anything.

This is my current list but I have tried everthing over the years,

A buddy of mine swears by tumeric for anti inflammation and help healing. I didnt seem changed by it.
