That's awesome. Just realize that insurance won't cover HCG at it's very expensive. At the compounding pharmacy I'm using 10,000 iu (the amount they can get it in) is about $170 or so. So, I've continued to get my HCG from a board sponsor for $25 per 5000iu. Just made more sense to me. If you can get your test in a standard dose of 200mg/ml generic it'll be cheaper then getting compounded test.
Compounds aren't covered as well as regular generics, at least with my insurance. My compounded thyroid medication is 49, would be 61, but the compounding pharmacy is giving me a discount. My insurance only covers 50% on compounded prescriptions. However 10ml of 200mg/ml generic test is a standard 12 copay.

Congrats brother! I just got my doctor on board too yesterday lol... I'll be running my own test but he's prescribed hCG & an an AI for me. Plus as much bloodwork as I want to dial in
Nice! My doc gives me all the stuff for home use (test, hcg, adex) but getting blood work from him is a pain in the ass. Wish I had this!

HCG fulfils the "signal" requirement that your body normally gets from leutinizing hormone (LH) as our pituitary gland stops releasing it upon the introduction of exogenous testosterone (any androgen AFAIK really). This includes pregnenolone production, DHEA conversion, adrenal/para-adrenal output like cortisol (often leads to a slight imbalance of adrenaline/epinephrine and cortisol), potentially progesterone (I'm not completely sold on its value though), a couple intra-testicular enzymes and catalysts I can't begin to spell off memory and more.
I think of testosterone/LH/FSH as control wiring in a circuit; if one of them becomes disconnected, there could be all sorts of random things popping up - depending on how the individual's body reacts. I personally feel MUCH better on HCG, and I have ZERO desire to make any more puppies with the wife.
It's a good idea imo to try to imitate natural production as much as possible, and HCG allows this.

Even though I had a vasectomy I still like to use the HCG for cosmetics at a minimum. I did a cycle once without and the change was almost comical. Though I still wonder if having smaller balls gave the illusion my dick grew?? 
Wife has always said she didn't care but it always weirded me out. I normally have the balls of a Chimp so when they shrink to half the size it was pretty apparent to me.
