I need a new ab workout

I do a mix of fast, high reps + really slow, low reps, weights, and medicine balls, but I don't get any soreness anymore.

Does anyone have a good ab work out to really blast me? I do abs 3-4 times a week, usually before I work out as a warm up.

Thanks...

Lower Abdominal Crunch 1X12
Leg Thrust 1x12
Side Crunch 1X12 (Each Side)
Knee Ups 1X12
Crunch 1X12
Abdominal Rollout 1x12

Active Rest
---------------
Abdominal Stretch 20 Seconds x 2
Side Bends 20 seconds x2
Stomach Vacuums 20 Seconds x2

Repeat cycle 3 times with no additional rest

Thanks bro... two questions: is that a picture of your abs in your avatar?
Also, can you describe leg thrust and lower ab crunch?

Thanks again

not my abs but it will be!

Lower ab crunch is reverse crunch aka bring your knees to your chest.

Leg thrust is where you try to touch your toes to the ceiling while laying like a standard crunch.

I did the routine you posted last night (I exchanged leg thrust since I didn't know what it was and I guess I knew what lower crunch was) and today I've got a nice sore feeling. I love a little soreness because it reminds me that I'm getting ripped.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Excellant! I will see If I can find a pic or better explanation of the leg thrust and reverse crunch and post it

I know what it is now, I just didn't get the reply by the time I went to the gym so I did something else.

But thanks again.

Try this. Take a 45lb plate and hold it(while u're on the decline bench) then slowly lower yourself to about parallel and hold for a full 5 seconds, then slowly come back up. Do 5 of these for 5-6 sets. See if that doesn't tear up your abs. It did mine. Better then any damn crunch or medicine ball exercise.
U won't be disappointed

clean diet=abs

but that doesn't make me sore... I like to get sore after a good ab workout (not because I didn't drink enough water or b/c I hurt myself) and I haven't been getting sore anymore.

Although, it is mostly true that if you eat clean you get abs, it does take work to get good abs.

Shit. I've been eating really clean for over 3.5yrs at the very least and I still don't have really defined abs. U can c them, they just don't pop way out like in the muscle mags. Never have seemed to get that defined...diet + exercise and still not abs like that...just gotten smaller and skinnier.
